Although flat earthers tend to harbor many conspiracy theories to explain their position, the difference is their claims are often demonstrably false. When it comes to the modern governmental interference and censorship campaigns...it's kind of a mixed bag with both credible and questionable evidence, and almost no one has similar beliefs or backgrounds other than not believing in the spoken narrative of some claims.

No matter how much you'd like it to be, it still isn't. Crackpots and loons are still the only types that traffic in these stories. It's a shame what happened to Russell Brand, because I used to think he was a very funny comedian. On the other hand, Jimmy Dore was never funny to begin with.

I agree, I don't think he's particularly funny but I've gained tremendous respect for him in the past couple years. He's much better at reporting than comedy. He's definitely coming from a pretty well intentioned place, much like Joe Rogan.

These "commentators" on shows like Rising SHOULD be skilled orators... If they are not doing the research and/or not covering the topic in a neutral good faith manner... Then at the VERY LEAST they should be skilled speakers...or they simply shouldn't be hired. In my opinion.

True some conspiracy theories are true, but the guy was just talking about how Jan 6 was an inside job yesterday by the FBI with basically no evidence for the case, an argument that only works to bolster the position of the far right insurrectionists.

That is a silly, non-nuanced opinion if applied to all conspiracy theories. It is their goal to frame their actions as mass incompetence. Take elon's example on this video, hunter Biden laptop. Media said it was disinformation because the someone in government asked former intellectual officials to form a letter saying it was disinformation....how does your "no one in control" work in this example. There are clearly people in trusted positions that get parroted without Question by the people who are meant to inform the public. They publish all the time. I told them many years ago I had a plan to end war globally and described how the media, specifically FOXN, was a part of the problem. They took my words of wisdom to heart and have been watching the FOX bs, and calling it out on their website, ever since. They do a good job.
