Hey Yelena, yet another informative video. As it's my initial days of learning the Russian language, I'm not very much focusing on practicing cursive writing by heart as of now but definitely in the future. I hope it wouldn't hinder my learning process. That being said, how did you learn the english language? Considering English letters and the English language itself can be very confusing for a native Russian at first. What was your process ?
Thanks Saurabh! Cursive is definitely useful to know as many things in Russia are written using the cursive letters, like menus in restaurants, signs and advertisements, also whenever Russians write by hand they use cursive. I started learning English at a very young age mainly through private lessons, I also visited some English speaking countries and used the language actively throughout many years.
Dunno if it was me, i could hear an answering machine going off in the background sound repeatedly and then someone leaving a message. Was it all part of the background music or am i going nutts?
