Hi Tatyana, I must say I made this cake today. It was very easy but unfortunately I will give it a taste tomorrow just bcs it's my husband's birthday. The only thing that I got disappointed was that the "frosting" was very melted at the end when I tried to make the nods on top. So if it'll taste good maybe next time I will try doing it with the traditional fronting.
Hi! I hope you enjoy the cake tomorrow! It tastes even better the next day! This frosting does melt easily. Next time, place the frosting back into the refrigerator for about 30 minutes, then whisk it again.

Hi! I'm so glad you enjoyed this cake before. It's one of my favorites. I'm not sure the frosting would hold fondant well. It's too soft to support fondant. I prefer to bake each layer separately so that the cake batter bakes evenly and doesn't burn on the sides. If you bake everything in one pan, the center will take much longer to bake.
Hi! I'm so glad you enjoy my recipes. This frosting is on the softer side. I recommend letting the cake set overnight, then it should be fine at room temp for a few hours When you're making it and it's too soft, I recommend refrigerating for 1 hour, then mixing again.
