One of the most beautiful songs ever written

Most of ColdPlay's videos are awesome, very upbeat with a positive message. I found out about the band a few years back, I came down with a very serious, life changing illness. I had pretty much given up on having a happy fulfilling life, but was finally starting to drag myself out of depression, feeling sorry for myself. THen I stumbled on "Adventure of a Lifetime"... Amazingly upbeat, Amazingly positive. Every morning for a while as I was getting up, I would watch the video... The one w/the Monkeys. It would instantly make the day look better, and helped me out or a real tough time.. Things much better now, the song is still amazing. I also recommend Biutyful, a much newer song. Also a very positive message... THe video w/the dolls/muppets that are in a band. After that, ColdPlay has an incredible number of really good songs. Hymn for the Weekend, Sky full of stars, On and On. Check out their Live Concert videos.............amazing.

I've seen them even live, great concert. Everybody singing and being happy. Still have goosebumps from this song.

I read that the lead singer said "Paradise" is about a girl, really, just about being "a bit lost in the world and escaping through fantasy". Apparently it has nothing to do with animals or zoos. I do agree with your feelings about zoos, even though someone else in comments does make a good point when they said that some animals would be extinct without them. 😔

The worst thing for any wild animal is to live in a prison with four walls. So I understand that the song is somewhat referring to the instinctive need for animals to be free in nature. Otherwise the band were speaking tongue in cheek about humanity being trapped and needing to be free.

I dislike zoos in general too. However there are situations where some animals are kept in captivity to protect them from pouchers&maybe for other reasons like if they're close to becoming extinct.

oh the irony, Zoos are bad ill never go to them, but then you own a dog breed that cant breath properly and is actuall cruel to have exist XD
