This is the music that was used in the Final Round of Season 1 of Russian Roulette, hosted by Mark L. Walberg and announced by Burton Richardson.
In this season's Final Round, the lone contestant who survived the previous three rounds has a chance to play this round with this background music.
In this round, Walberg asks a contestant a series of five brain-teaser questions, dubbed by the host as "5 Killer Questions". The contestant is timed for one minute, or 60 seconds, to give correct answers. Questions may be ranged based on math problems, word jumbles, or general knowledge (some questions are true-or-false questions).
In Season 2, different music was played and correct answers must be given in ten multiple-choice questions with three possibilities.
The contestant needed to say the phrase "My Answer Is..." before giving out an answer, so that thinking aloud is not mistaken for an answer; this was removed in Season 2.
If the contestant got stuck on a question, they are allowed to pass and may return to that question if time remains.
If the contestant gave a wrong answer OR ran out of time, they would drop out of the studio; however, they would receive $500 for every correct answer given; in Season 2, this was changed to $300 each.
If the contestant answered all questions correctly (five in Season 1, and ten in Season 2), the clock would stop, and he or she would win an extra $10,000.
The contestant then has a chance to either keep the $10,000 OR increase that amount tenfold by risking it all on one final pull of the lever and playing Russian Roulette.
If the contestant decides to risk it, he or she will play for one final pull with the number of Drop Zones; if he or she survives, they will add $100,000 to their total.
If the contestant decided not to risk it, they would keep the $10,000 and everyone would at least find out what would've happened if the contestant had decided to go for the $100,000.
Only three contestants won the $100,000 Grand Prize:
1. Todd Truly=$102,200 (4 Drop Zones; Season 1)
2. Al Winchell=$102,150 (3 Drop Zones; Season 1)
3. Maria Lay=$102,000 (the only contestant to survive with 5 Drop Zones; Season 2)

Bill: My answer is Australia. Mark L. Walberg: That's incorrect, it's what letter of the alphabet. Bill: "censor" Mark L. Walberg: Yes, that would also be incorrect Bill. Bill: "drops through his dropzone"

Here are some changes that should be made to the final round of “Russian Roulette”: - if a contestant answered all 5 questions correctly in 60 seconds of less, he or she gets an additional $10,000 which they can give up by playing one final round of “Russian Roulette” and if they survive it, they take home $50,000 - for questions that ask for two answers, the contestant will get half credit if one of their two answers is correct - if a contestant didn’t answer all 5 questions correctly, they get $250 for every correct answer they do come up with

As with "Debt," did this show get sued by Merv Griffin? Seeing this bonus round resembled "Jeopardy!"

As far as I remember, the player would oftentimes try to get the right answers to all the Questions as fast as possible so that there would be fewer Drop Zones if he or she chooses to go for the $100,000.

The easy questions were the wordplay ones where you have to rearrange all the letters in a certain word or phrase to come up with another word or phrase but the killers are the math questions and ones where you have to give 2 or 3 answers.
