Americans, take note- this is what happens to a country when the leader doesn't care about anything but himself. Putin was initially elected to power. Not surprising that Trump has such a hard on for him.

The funniest thing is that we owe all this change in Western policy to Iran. Mike Johnson was still blocking military aid to Ukraine, sending Congress to recess every 2 weeks, and he'd laid out a full week of voting for laws about home appliances. But then Iran launched their massive missile attack against Israel, directly from Iranian soil. Right after that happened, despite the attack causing only one casualty, appliances week was suspended and aid to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan was promptly passed by Congress.

The prices of oil never rose because the US released 180 million barrels from its strategic reserves at the same time OPEC+ cut production. It profited from high prices, while at the same time driving them lower.

The EPP with Ursula van den Leyden as leader still holds a majority in the EU parliament, they teamed up with the socialdemocratic block and the liberal block etc still outweighs both the extreme right and left wing By far.
