I can't believe this has to be said but I've been getting a lot of comments about why my first few bases got taken.. I KNOW.😂 I got the entire platinum, and learned more of the game than you see in this 30 minutes video.. I am fully aware.. but as you saw at the beginning, I went in completely blind and decided to the learn the game myself instead of watching YT videos. I appreciate all the support on this video, but the amount of repeat comments I've seen saying "you lost your base because..." is painful 😂😂
yeah it was soul crushing.. I've only ever played games where loot is important, but more so it was losing 3-4 hours worth of work that was crushing me
Unrelated but it fills me with so much joy that you game with your uncle! I’m an aunt and game with my nephew as much as I can!!! Great video as always
Really enjoyed this video Studdy. Safely say one of my favourite videos of yours. Think we all were nervous about the delayed trophy pops. Well done my man 👍 (think we all hate multiplayer trophies 😱)
If you want a difficult online game for trophies, both Dead By Daylight and Texas Chainsaw Massacre are good, just a massive grind, especially DBD. That one is a plat I’ve earned twice.
sadly i dont think it would be worth it over 300 trophies i think and the faster way to get most of the adept achievements would just be to buy everything which is 40 bucks on top of the games price if you dont have the game for free. then the grind coming from nothing would be painful not knowing how to play the game solo queue.
Honestly props to you! I think stressful just isn't the right word for this game. Also the damn trophies popping what feels like eternity after you do something. Reminds me of VAR in Football. Can't celebrate straight away 😂
Rust is one of the most stress inducing games of all time. People go out of their way to be a pos and ruin your experience 90% of the time naked and empty inv or full metal kit ak doesnt matter. People make careers and platforms off of being as rude and obnoxious as they can to new players. The biggest rust streamers are all garbage can ppl. Plenty of things that make this game stressful
As someone with 3-4k hours on rust, i found the achievements were really easy to get but it was just me and my mate if u get into the wrong server with the really grubby players then the achievements will be a nightmare, enjoyed watching the video from a new perspective again.
yeah 100% easy with friends and for a seasoned rust player.. but thats not who the trophy guide is aimed at I dont believe. it would be like me saying AC3's platinum is 1 hour if you already have 99% of the trophies lmao
As a rust console player with 1k+ hours it’s really cool to see what the game is like to a brand new player, I was once a new player myself (obviously) but I watched a lot of RU-vid videos about rust before pre ordering Rust console so I did have some knowledge going into the game. It’s just so fun to watch someone learn how to play rust with no prior knowledge of the game.
As someone who has 1.5k hours on Rust PC this was so hard to watch, no fault of your own theres really a steep learning curve which isnt simplifed by the game, there needs to be a basic tutorial given to new players
yeah I was taught the airlock thing after a few days which helped a lot, and tbh once I had most the trophies I was having more fun with it, was winning fights & not being raided as much thanks to metal doors and airlocks lol
if you leave anything twig/ thatch on your base even for any amount of time, people will take advantage of it because it is insanely easy to destroy. in your base you had twig foundations and roof so they could easily just destroy your foundations and everything is gone. wood is better and will keep you safe atleast partially but ideally you don't want to log off unless everything is atleast stone.
Mad guy haha. Fair play though dude. This was a solid video. Don’t know how you kept your cool after losing so many bases and stashes, quality man. You’re smashing it with these videos atm 👊🏻
I had a really easy time but that’s because I had a friend that helped with a couple things but mostly just flew threw it only thing that was time consuming was the scrap
I quit because I’ve went through about 34 controllers in the past four years that I’ve been playing. I’m a Beamer just stopped playing in my prime couldn’t deal with getting off-line rated all the time never online got tired of it.😢 fun game while it lasted though now it’s kind of dead
dude do yourself a favor, stop playing console edition, just take that step and go rust PC such a difference, the game is pain enough without the terrible graphics and the fact it just isn't optimized for controller play, or the very least see if you can plug keyboard and mouse into console give yourself that upper hand you will move like no other player with a controller, also a couple of little tips never log off after your first session of the wipe with a wooden door at bare minimum you want sheet metal door, and open plan bases you may as well just leave the boxes outside your base unlocked, point being if you only have a one wooden door to a open plan base you will lose everything, and make sure your Tc before you log out has enough resource for upkeep while offline, as that 3rd base you you had with wooden door but stone foundations and walls to me looks like decay so over night you didn't have upkeep to sustain the base so it started to crumble and thus meaning your boxes where left in the wild lol, this game is for the faint hearted or butt hurt
I’ve been play console rust a while now and let me tell you, low pop servers are more soul destroying because everyone is loaded, the encounters you do have the enemy is always full metal AK and everyone has a box of rockets with no one to raid, I’ve tried a few low pop servers and my base has never lasted more than 48 hours, it’s annoying on high pop because there’s lots of people around all the time everywhere shooting at you but at least your base stays up long enough for you to learn and progress
And yea rust is a nightmare of a game to learn no help it’s has by far the highest highs and even more so the lowest lows it’s a game that shows the true nature of people and 7/10 times you interact with someone who actually gets into it they are not a very nice human anyway good video I feel sorry for anyone who plays this game because it’s a full time job if you want to keep a base and gather loot
I recommend that you plat the batman arkham games, they are absolute masterpieces and they aren't that challenging other than arkham city which is a 7/10. plus you can see them on sale most times for really cheap.
I did almost all in 6 days except c4 bc I didn't wana waste if ut was rockets I shot like 150 to 450 as a team console player don't rly use c4 as a team
This guy spent 20 hours doing what takes most people 5 minutes lol, nah but this is really cool to see and I play pc rust and have never really seen console rust so this was interesting to watch how different it is to pc rust
hahahahaah you gotta remember this was my first ever experience, after like 20 hours, I was able to build the basics much faster lmao.. but I'm definitely one of the worse Rust console players😂
Im listening to the start of the video, have fun , ive got 3.2k hours and ive had plat since abt 300 I hate that feeling of "if i sleep ill lose it all"
you base was gone cause someone broke your floor and it colapsed cause you didnt upgrade it same as roof if its twig its easy to break you should of upgraded it to wood
Damn man I’m jealous I’ve been trying to get this plat for a couple of days now but the c4 trophy glitched out on me I’ve done it 7 times now and still nothing, pure pain.
100% of people are garbage when they start Rust for the first time. Shit you don't even start understanding everything about the game until about 300+ hours I reckon. It's even easier these days, they practically guide you through the game now. Don't feel bad for being bad when you start. You're allowed to be, so allow yourself to be
hahahahah thanks bro! The amount of people I've seen giving me grief for not knowing the game before playing, like going into a game without any knowledge is a crime lmao
I think you need a vacation try platinum sifu or other easy, Game you are a human you have emotion, don't get too caught up for these trophy hunting and congrats btw on hitting 30K🎉 and remember, Take a rest on these tropy hunting,I alredy seen your wolrfenestein platinum it was a great vid and Probably a lot of dedication that's all i wanted to say take care brother.
Blud I’m stuck on the Bear-Knuckle Boxer. What does rust consider a fire arm. I use a bow and arrow trophy doesn’t pop. Use a nail gun, nope, use a crossbow, hell naw. Like what I’m supposed to do
I want to say my tips for rust players 1, Make tools (Hatchet and pick) first 2.Get stone as mutch as you can 3. never use wood to make a base it is easy to get raided with that 4. make a bow because no matter what it is you're best friend 5. kill every one you meet
I’m amazed that you knew genuinely nothing about the game with it being so old but still went in blind didn’t watch no YT videos or ask questions to anyone who’s played before nope just went straight in 🤦🏻♂️
whats crazy to me, is how going in blind these days is considered crazy.. but back when I was younger you'd go into every game blind unless your friends at school had it lol. But on your other point, I actually didn't know anyone who played it, and also I felt like even if I watched videos I'd have no context to what they mean, I don't regret how I did it, I'd have been bored if I watched hours of vids prior to going in
This platinum is crazy lol A friend of mine and his friend were one of the top 5 people who got it 1st sadly my friend has since passed and I can't remember who his friend was that got it but sadly I missed out on their group and I still sit at like 40% or something 😅
Things that would have made your experience better, increased FOV makes the game feel faster, head look setting in the controller layout, increased camera movement and reduced ambient sound effects.
I have like 5k hours plus this is hard to watch always upgrade everything to stone, get airlock and sheet metal doors before progressing it's not worth playing a game like rust without RU-vid cause super painful
5his video really brings me so much pain when you loose all your loot due to not upgrading. I'm not new to this game with around 2000 hours but I really understand your pain
This is one of my most played games on pc was my go to game back in the 6 weeks holidays so I might have to grab it on Ps5 now as my pc is no longer good enough to run it smoothly. Congrats dude
The base you lost was because you didn't upgrade your floors you left them as basic not even level 1 with a few hits from a rock your whole base can be taken down first thing you should always upgrade to stone first from you base is floors walls and roof never leaves it in upgraded
as a rust veteran this video hurts to watch, but ur a beginner so it’s okay, i hope you didn’t get as much as a migraine as i do just playing the game lol
If you are looking for a server to start and get better on pick a sub 30 pop server all in all love the video as a rust player a few things annoyed me but great vido
11:20 - That base was gone because it stands on a twig floor. All somebody had to do to get all your loot was just poking the twig foundation a few times or shooting it with arrow twice, it would then break destroying the walls, tool cupboard and boxes
Rust console is so much harder then PC it takes so much time to get good with a controller also its vanilla only which sucks its not like cod with fluent movement
Please dont get into this game if you like having a social life , this game on pc is getting too real , you can play outside the house w the new drones and turrets
Bro didn't sprint a single time this entire video. Watching him miss the timing on that green card because he was just walking to it was so tough to watch
What you on about lad I was sprinting the whole time, unless there’s a magic button I didn’t know about.. unless the game has walk, sprint, super sprint. And some how no one else knew about this magic sprint as I was able to catch or out run everyone
well yeah.. not everyone wants to play 100 of hours before going for the plat. saying rust is one of the easiest platinums just to prove some random point is so silly. All ACs, all Far Crys, all WDs, All Crysis and many more are all far easier platinums. a PvP game where you can lose everything at any moment will never be rated as "easy"
