Rust Stash Glitch = Free Loot

memeio casually uncovering every single anti stash esp stash and then acting confused when banned from a server by the plugin 💀

The whole video I was just waiting for memeio to be teleported to a chair in the snow and then here camomo say "memeio, What the fuck are you doing"

Servers randomly generate “ dummy stashes “ to catch cheaters.

That's a serious exploit, I'm launching rust right now to "test'' it out.

The loot in most of those stashes is probably just some plugin that spawns stashes to catch cheaters and memeio is just going for them blatantly :DDDD

I think some servers have procedurally generated stashes that have basic stuff in them. This might be the crappy ones you found.

Unfortunate he went to a server with randomly generated stashes, would have really enjoyed seeing him playing a server with only player places stashes.

I found this too whent the drones came out :) it was very cool to discover.

The best place to check would have been near the beaches closest to oil rig, since people will sometimes stash things there to hide extra loot after returning from a lucrative oil run.

Damnnnn I felt so bad for that last guy trying to build a base, that anxiety is so sky high when you do that and the worst happened

I think he messaged Camomo to get unbanned and spent twenty minutes explaining the exploit.

The way I see it, the drone is detecting disturbed ground, so I wouldn't call it a glitch or cheat. You actually have to make an effort to find stashes this way, unlike a cheat that just shows you where they are and you run over them to loot without even digging them up... That said, it IS a bit OP. It would be more balanced if you could use something like a metal detector to play a game of hot/cold, where you have a limited number of attempts to find a stash. It would give you a direction and approximate distance (ie, 'far to the north', 'very close to the east', etc) Can only find one stash at a time, and the area becomes unsearchable for an hour whether you find it or not.

they have a pluggin that spawns stashes everywhere with random small amounts of loot. if players uncover a set amount of those pluggin spawned stashes it bans them. or optionally reports it to admins. Used this plugging before on my server :D

I watched a video of some hackers who found a guy's stashes and took all of them, which was pretty messed up.

Video idea: you find stashes (That are loaded) and built a base on top of it

The reason you got banned is because those are trap packages placed as part of an anti-cheat setup. They are meant to catch people using esp hacks. The reason you kept finding grenades is because those are an item flagged to the server to alert an admin if you pick one up. You would have had an admin watching you run around looting stashes, which got you banned.
