This was so encouraging! I love all the debt free scream stories but overcoming adversity like this is such a testimony of hope for those of us just getting started. Thank you for sharing your amazing story!
Great job Ruth! As someone who has walked in similar shoes I know how hard this must have been as you were trying to grieve. You’ve achieved an amazing accomplishment. Your husband would be so proud of you.
Thank you for sharing your story Ruth! I can imagine how scary it must have been with a shy personality go to on the air, but you have helped motivate me and others! I am a single woman who is trying to get debt free, and have had a lot of discouraging words thrown my way, because I am single. Sharing your story helped add fire to my fuel in my debt free goal. Enjoy your debt free, financially stress free life! You have more than earned it!!!
Lori P Thank you Lori! Through my debt free journey I have learned A LOT about God, and I have to say, he is truly good. Whenever I get discouraged, he sends me a blessing, and whenever I get overly confident and "rebel" in my finances he sends me murphys law :) I am finally starting to trust in him, and it has been the best decision I could have ever made.
It's encouraging to me. I'm single, I make $35k a year (no kids), and I'm frustrated with my debt. I get discouraged and frustrated doing this budget thing on my own, but I know it will be worth it when all is said and done.
i am 24 yrs old and paying 40k in school debt. it has been a year and Ijust passed half way last month. Tax money coming in will go directly to the debt. At this rate I hope to finish by December. No i do not depend on my mother, i have bills. trust me it can be done.
Good job Gus. I hope you are continuing to progress. It is a good feeling to see those thousands of dollars to melt away. must be bringing in some okay money. that is good for a 24 year old.
