The only reason I can think of that people dislike this video is they are whole-life insurance salesman trying to get back at Dave... there's no other explanation to why you'd thumb down this story.

God can't do anything with perfect, he only works on the broken. This is coming from a former womanizing atheist that only thought of himself. I'm now married with God's word and a beautiful woman that shares my journey to live for Yeshua and at his will.

My husband of 20 years and we have 4 sons(3togeather) has just left me.and the kids. He is how you were and I tried so hard and heartbroken. I pray constantly for years and even got him to church for while and baptized but he went back quickly to atheist and turned away from us too. He now wants no contact and talking to other women and sure it's over this time. I pray one day he finds peace and whatever it is he is looking for. I'm having hard time now financially and with everything and praying God help me and shows me a way. Thank you and congrats.

I'm glad this worked out for this couple, (this family). Personally, at this stage in my life, I will never allow a woman access to my finances or checking account again. I'm not saying that there isn't a woman out there with the same money values as myself, but I just haven't met one yet. Living single has worked out so much better than any relationship I have ever been in. Having said that, I understand that the common denominator in ALL of those relationships was ME. So I simply accept that I am not relationship material. And I am happier and wealthier with that acceptance.

Great story! You can tell his poor wife already cried all the tears she could prior to all of this. For her not to tear up along with him telling his testimony shows that there is still some trust that needs to be built up. But God always prevails!

John C Yeah....it's called the stars, planets and matter.....the UNIVERSE. The real "God". Not your petty christianity make beleif bible story-telling. (Ironically) you beleive "human theory" from the earliest times of humanity. In the 1800's there wasn't even electricity Invented. Or cars on roads.....but you beleive in a no "hard evidence" God by the means of Christianity. In the future everything will be based on science and "real" hard evidence. Not religion. Imagine 100-500 or even 1000 years as humans evolve as a species and we grow and discover our Universe. Religion will be of apart of history and the educated and prosperous shall live on.....

The more we immerse ourselves in scientism and rationalism the less human we are. We simply become small machines in the midst of a mechanistic world. No thanks. The basic building block of the universe isn't matter but story, the story of a personal God who creates, loves, and redeems.

Oh gosh, not at all! I worked in marketing for a Fortune 100 company for nearly 14 years prior to this video being made. Once we paid off our consumer debt, we made the decision for me to change gears and work as a full-time mom to our sons. All good!

Pretty sure Ramsey if given the choice between showcasing an atheist couple and a Christian couple, would choose to showcase the religious couple. As an atheist, it seems to me that using God as a tie breaker when arguing as a couple has benefits. From my pessimistic point of view, it appears to be a good strategy to many for stepping back and looking at things rationally and with compassion. That's my guess for why it seems skewed to you.
