Ruth Pointer on "Fairytale" + Grand Ole Opry (Apollo Theater Soundstage) 

That is our true only regret that the Pointer Sisters never released a full Gospel or Christmas album.... fortunately we have their performance From the 1996 PBS Concert, A Gospel Christmas where there performance included Gospel and Christmas songs. I still wished PBS would release this on CD/dvd

I have loved Ruth since I was 15 years old in 1973.

I know every word to that song and I haven't heard it since it first came out.

This was awesome!

Ruth needs to link up some directors and writers and start putting together a biopic/documentary

Linda Martell was first solo female, black on the Opry in the 70's.

So classy and humble.

Wow, ive always said the Pointer Sisters were and still are the greatest black sangers 😍, they had clear, strrrong , harmonious voices, and so much soul, gurl they can do mary had a little lamb and you just fall out 👀😍, thanks for the music Ladies 🙏⚘️⚘️

She's a great storyteller reminiscent of Judy Garland. They may not all be technically true but they are certainly entertaining. 😂
