They’ve basically cornered their own in-game economy. They’ve got so many super alpha/pen tanks that if they release a normal balanced tank, it’s just not going to sell because people would rather wait for the next giganto-gun premium tank instead. It seems like the tarran just got pushed out too early for the rest of the game to catch up and now every tech tree that’s more than 2 years old has been power crept to shit

Just like when each season begins, level 10 will be filled with Tier X tanks from the Ultimate Season Pass. I'll stay in tiers V to VII for this week at least.

Great video, Petty. How does it compare play style to the AVRE? it looks like it has very comparable speed, concealment, gun handling, and reload. Does it play like a duplicate AVRE? If so, I'll skip this one and just play the AVRE when I need big gun satisfaction.

It honestly is quite fun, had a few games where there werent a ton of ruthless' in the game ans its definitely strong

Played seven tier 10 games today - SIX of them being a loss with only one win (every single one of those losses was by 8 or more tanks). That one win on Mountain Pass featured five AVRE's and SIX Ruthlesses'. Not a single one of the Ruthless players eclipsed 2,500 damage and EVERY single one of them had an overall win rate of less than 48%. I just don't understand how WGCB can possibly think this can be healthy for the game. The Ruthless, just like the AVRE, takes ZERO skill to play - you just drive, turn your turret, shoot, and do damage. I'm so sick of these idiot-proof tanks practically being spoon-fed to terrible players. I may just stop playing tiers 8-10 altogether and stick with the mid-tiers from here on out because these total BS season pass tanks have made the higher tiers almost unplayable.

If they had made this a stage 100 reward rather than an ultimate pass tank, and a less attractive tank is in the ultimate pass then no one would buy the ultimate pass. It’s all about the business model of saleability.

Oke like you say the gun hurts but for the rest the tank is so easy to take down. Its is the perfect example of a glass canon…

I would rather it have the same gun as the train nice big 950 Alpha with the Blazing fast reload would be extremely forgiving and really fun the problem I have with this tank would be the same problem I had with the Death Star takes too long to reload when it derps so I would rather have lower Alpha with a quicker reload

I'm just going to keep grinding on CW lol, I was currently marking the T58 heavy, but might put that on hold a month or two.

I think the only thing that annoys me is that I worked HARD to grind those fv215b183 and 4005 lines, and now you can just spend some money to get an ever so slightly worse version of those tanks, and even then it can sometimes be better depending on the situation, cause it's not like the others have any camo or armor either. It's just crazy, the 183 used to be the most feared gun, and now it's your average thing in this game with the other TD's (and mediums) they've been adding. What's next, sturmtiger howitzer on a light tank hull? lmao

At least when Paingod was in charge there seemed to be some concern about keeping the game balanced. Now its just a push to get as many people to buy the ultimate pass as possible without any concern how its going to ruin the game for anyone trying to grind tech tree when some shitter who barely understands the game can just delete you by playing like they are in a Tier II battle. The last two seasons I have barely finished the basic season pass on the final day, i used to finish with 2-3 weeks remaining and keep playing because it was fun. Its feeling like an unpleasant chore these days.

Imho the mobility and concealment of the TARAN makes it at least as dangerous as if not more dangerous than the AVRE and the Ruthless.

The reason why is that it made money. AVRE brought more money (most likely) than the whole game has in a while. It showed the way they need to do it. So they did it again, purely out of business ideas. You can tell how bad the state of the game is when even during “busy” hours you get tier 10 matches with bots. And a lot of them. The game is at its end, they’re milking as much as they can. I don’t like being negative like this, but I have no other explanation.

I feel this catered to people like me with crap noob tanks that'll take another 2-3 months before I can get a 4005. I have a contract with like 40 days left and need another 55 kills. It's taking me 7-10 games to maybe get 5 kills, so grind is real. So bigger firepower, more kill chance. Still wont buy it though to shill for pay to win simply because the reload time

i hate ruthless i cant do anything with it i just get killed immediately even when try. And the matchmaking is ass i get teams where i get one other teammate with a ruthless while they have 6 or 7 anyway enough of my complaining thanks for the review petty.

Top tier tanks just shouldn't be instant access for buying the pass. Only rank 100 rewards. And obviously the AVRE sold well so they're doing it again. Was having fun derping bots with it in co-op mode. Multiplayer is too frustrating.

You know if it wasn't for how ridiculously long and annoying of a grind it is to earn a tier X mercenary I would probably pass on this Ultimate. That being said you can't pass up a chance to get all that for 4K in gold

Its baffling how they go from "op a all hell tank that ruins tier 8+ matchmaking for weeks" to "genuinely balanced but still pretty good tanks". The centauro, object 780, t-58, and Murat are all either solid or genuinely good tanks that do not break the game. Then you have things like this and the avre that just make tier 8 players wanna cry until they shrivel up like raisins. Granted this thing doesn't have the armor or fire rate of the avre, but it has better pen, accuracy, and shell velocity. The death star, shit barn, and taran were bad enough, now I gotta deal with these too?

What I've noticed today playing tier 8s is that there's clearly too many at 9-10 so it's shoving T8s in with 6/7s and man alive, the teams are fucking USELESS today. Useless. WR this week down to 45% from 52% - 73% WR.

To be honest I was opening 5 sargents chest and after getting more crates from those crates along with some gold, i got a dublicate tank and got 7k gold as comp. And i got the discounted season pass and got the Ruthless unintentionally.

Lo just got the ruthless purchased 30 key cards blue or the private box got 2 tanks which I already had so managed to go from 5000 gold to 17600 then got ultimate pass kitted out with vents loader view range and camp net 1st battle 1 hit and out 2nd battle 3 kills 6785 damage 500 assist camp down to 298 using ration’s fuel repair kit it’s quite fun and got mvp I think it’s worth it enjoy if u c one with iron maiden on its mine this should of been the iron maiden tank ta

Hurray our favorite whale has made a review already. Please nerf this monstrosity of a tank this is basically an Avre but on steroids I've faced 5-6 on every game a very horrible experience and it's on day 1 on tier 10 I'm not playing tier 8 and 9 LOL

One thing I will say when it comes to this game...Logic doesn't come into it. So this tank is a bit of a doggie in many ways, why they did it God knows. The annoying thing is the blurb they put on it...this thing is not gonna be grinding round the battlefield killing everything in it's path..is it? No. Problem is tier 10 is their highest tier so they seem to think they need to keep coming up with pretend tanks like this. Having said all that for many players who do not want to spend silly money on thousands of Gold premium higher tier tanks this would probably be the most powerful..Gun wise..tank many will have. This is my only tier 10..I had that stupid big thing they gave us some time ago, firing what was it? One round a minute or something. Hopeless for me so I sold the thing. So do I like this one? Well, I played it a couple of times to get a feel for it and honestly I got on with it ok. I like the gun...5 kills first time out so not complaining. Survivability? Is this any worse than most of them in reality? The gun's derpy nature isn't an issue for me as I like playing heavies anyway and I like guns like the KV 2s derp gun...the KV 2s armour ain't great anyway. Same gun on the T150. So for me this tank's weaknesses are kinda the same relatively speaking. Either way it is a freebie so if you don't want it sell it. And it did come with a nice chunk of silver to load her up with so that's something. Only real issue I have is the cost of it's ammo....Ouch..! 8 Grand for one round..? I don't think so.

Absolute junk tank. One of my worst. Full disclosure: I'm a cheap player. I haven't spent a dime on this game in over 3 years. Earn my gold through Long Haul and freebies from season pass. I don't pay for premium rounds or use premium consumables. But this tank bounces or misses more shots than my Centurion Avre or FV4005. For whatever reason the big gun on here is not nearly as good as the two previously mentioned. Even when zeroed in, I bounce on Tier 8's or just doesn't penetrate. I'm sure I'd have better luck with premium rounds. I've played 40 games haven't had a good one yet. I had many fun games in the Avre and the FV4005 Era1 tanks, even coming out on top sometimes. This thing is horribly slow, the chassis armor is dogshit and also the algorithm always seems to put me on losing teams(if you don't spend money on this game, the algorithm will put you on more losing teams). I have earned all my premium tanks for free. I'll never pay for one.

I swear this tank pisses me off more than any other tank. Its just so bad. Its literally impossible to use on cliff in my experience cause youll always get shot from the big hill and never hit them on their way up cause the gun. Misses. So. Much. And nothing ever doesnt pen you. Plus a 24 second reload while the other 183s have a 21 second reliad, with better accuracy and hesh pen and more mobilty. Plus it seems like people troll you when youre in it. I never get any help in it even though its the only tank i own that id literally need support all the time in. Or they just get behind you and keep you from backing up. Idk but that has happened to me several times to me since ive got it and it makes me hate the damn thing
