i can't lie i've shed a tear.. he is so honest that clearly shows a little emotional kid in him want to jump from joy but at the same time he has to suppress his feelings due to required professionalism.. i really hope that Amorim request him to stay as an assistant and legend of the club.. he is the source of passion and motivation in the dressing room
he is bringing his own assistant manager from SPorting, so mostly he will leave after christmas, right now bookies are betting for him to sign for West Ham since, they are looking to sack Lupategi if their situation doesnt improves
I'd love ruud to stay but he'd be a shadow hanging over the new manager, the moment results don't go his way, the media and fans would be clamouring for ruud to take over, just as it was for ten hag as soon as ruud came in.
When a manager said that he was not afraid of losing his job, that was the time for the board to dismiss him! ETH had lost his focus and more importantly his determination!
I hope he stays on to coach the strikers. We need someone with the passion and heart who knows what it takes at United. He cares so much about us the he needs to with us in some capacity. Any striker could learn a lot from him.
There is no more Sir Alex Ferguson. His style of player management made United the successful team it became. Every manager after him has failed to a degree. Don't forget one vital point the players in the current team have never experienced success and they are struggling to find it at league level and the promise land of the champions league. To motivate players earning vast sums of money without any penalty to take it back from them motivation is an impossible task. Rudd eluded to it in his interview its the only weapon at his disposal phycological mind set motivation of United history. Look at Robbie Savage at Macclesfield FC his post match interviews singles out his players for praise and mild criticism. Won 12 drawn 2 top by a clear 10 points . Its no wonder knocks at the door are happening. He's turned down one bigger job already I am not surprised at him getting offers. Hes staying loyal to Macclesfield FC for now.
Best finisher this club has ever had got united in his blood git that winners mentality of old united they need to keep him get schokes and roy keane involved
The new manager coming in might not get on with Ruud because he might be too vocal and wanting things his ways and NOT the managers ways ….time will tell
Perfect interim manager. A good record during this transition period might stand him in good stead to be our future manager. Hope he stays as part of the coaching staff.
Who cares if he’s a legend of the club……Ronaldo was a legend ,,under the bus……ole gunner under the bus……..you need results not legends …and Ruud saying he has a contract ,ETH had a contract he’s gone ,reality people………maybe the new coach might not want Ruud …..as long as there’s results THAT IS ALL THAT MATTERS…..
THE FRAUD IS OUT,GLORY GLORY MANUNITED!THE PLAYERS HE BOUGHT WILL BE EXPOSED TO BE AVERAGE PLAYERS.EXCITING TIMES ARE BACK ,WE ARE UNITED AND WILL BE BACK NEXT SEASON WITH A WHOLE LOT OF NEW PLAYERS AND A MANAGER WITH A VISION
@@BobAg_ he was successful for United aswell tbh, not many people will remember the league position in time, but everyone will remember two trophies in two seasons
@davo5400, why not? He had psv playing dynamic attacking football and helped the youth come through . He had a strong connection and knows the club well.
