Great job! Folks, please please clean your condenser while doing this maintenance to your RV AC and drain pan. You are already in there, may as well get yourself a soft brush and clean it before you put it all back together.
Thanks for the video. The info allowed me to have the confidence to knock out that repair myself in less than an hour yesterday. It certainly gave me a better understanding of what was going on up there. Keep it up!
Just basic tools (screwdriver w/ multiple bits, pliers..etc) if you have a spray bottle to put some water and bleach in to spray the tray off. I'm not a mechanic so I only know what mine was like
I had bought a reusable metal straw kit that came with a tiny wire cleaning brush for them. I’m able to push it through the weep holes through the bottom outside edge of the tray. I had run a finger under there and felt the holes. I was able to clear them up pretty good rubbing the finger around it.
I wouldn't "hard pipe" it. The pipe or tube would be prone to clogging even more. Any pipe or trough would be in the wind while hauling so route it accordingly.
