I just downloaded your thermostat troubleshooting guide a week ago and already had to use it THE DAY BEFORE WE WERE LEAVING FOR OUR FIRST TRIP! We bought a 2021 FR Aurora 32BDS about two weeks ago. My front A/C (Mach 15) wasn't cooling. I checked on top and found the compressor was not running. I went back down and started working through the guide I downloaded from you. Sure enough, I wasn't getting 12v going to the compressor control circuit. After closer inspection, I found the temp control "slider" and some other components on the board had some corrosion present. I shut the breaker off and got some Contact Cleaner and started spraying it in the temp control "slider", while working it back and forth. After doing this for about a minute, I turned the main breaker back on and the compressor came on. Not feeling comfortable with my "fix", I got on the phone and found one an hour away. I picked it up and replaced it. We just got back from that trip and the A/C worked flawlessly. Thank you for making these guides available and so simple to follow!

we are glad to have found you, just recently got back into the rv world and this thing needs a once over lol ... and A/C in Vegas is a MUST ... but not so much towards the mountains
Hi! Has this always been the case? Your generator may be too small to start your air conditioner. (this is a common problem) AC's take more power to start up than to keep running. And generators often can't make that big spike needed for start up. You can look at installing something called a SoftStart on to your AC to help reduce the power needed on start up.
