I am from Utah and I spent some time in Illinois. Thunderstorms were so bad in my mind because Illinois is flatter than Utah and the storm can mover closer to the earth.

We rented a spot at a local Texas RV park as we had sold out house on the first day of showing. So, everything went into storage in a chaotic packing style. This RV park had us move 3 times in 2 days from a reserved spot and then had the nerve to ask for social security information to do a background check. What for? Our credit card worked fine! I don't carry that card with me. It was somewhere buried in a huge storage unit. They had my driver's license and plate number. They said we were no longer able to stay and must leave by noon or be trespassing. I couldn't believe this was happening. We ended going 45 miles away to another park where they would allow us to stay for an extended time while searching for a new home. It was the best thing that happened to us as the new site had a free Barbeque and live band that week end and our 5ver was just over the fence from a horse ranch. Great views and friendly hosts!

My parents used a broom just like that for our Scamper back in the late 60’s early 70’s. It was perfect size!!!! 🤣🤣. A little gray tape around the broken edge, good to go!!

You need to get a bottle of lemon juice, when the grill gets hot pour it on and rub with a brush and you will get the grill clean, it needs it

I hope you guys get to the fairie fest I was telling you about. It’s between Binghamton and Oneonta and it’s all in the woods and full of fairies, goblins and such. The kids would love it! You handled that situation well. I think I would have cried.

My husband and I only had 20 minute to move during covid however we were employee of a park. It took us 4 hours and move 40 miles to another park.

I couldn't have held my temper. I would've packed up and kept going right on down the road. 10 days of income for the campground that they wouldn't have had without you... I wouldn't take down my 16 footer and move it. That's a lot of work 😒 Love your videos, kindness and patience! Oh and your beautiful family of course!!!💞💞💞

I think it’s absolutely ridiculous that you have to move because of other campers wants ur spot because their rig is too big? Are you fn kidding me?? I’d freakin pack up and leave that darn campsite! You learned about the it’s better to the office let them know extend your days at the park site. But doesn’t make sense to have you move when they could had taken a different spot. Now your roof broom had to break doing its job.

love the channel. We had this happen when we were tent camping after a few days of camping we were told we had to move a spot over for someone that was coming in. It can be a pain but you and wife handled it great. Love the kids and all those great learning experiences they would not have gotten in a class room. Keep up the great job.

Bad situation, but I'm so glad you moved to a nice site. I'm surprised they don't check all the sites on occasion. If you'd moved there the day before, I could understand the fire drill. But you had been there a while. The manager could have stopped by a couple of days ago to explain the situation and told you of a better site as well as given you a couple of days bonus. Write it up and submit a helpful review.😊

When extending a stay make sure it's for the same lot. The other ppl more than likely had already booked that space before yall put in for extension. Lesson learned ..also I understand its upsetting but just carryon , no need to let things l like that steal you trip & joy. Especially with little ones. Always try to keep good spirits & energy...everything will work out ❤ 🙏 All that fussing fussing....please dont get like the "what the hales" channel..its drama, fussing etc...I wish you all cldve said what occurred, and moved on. I would've loved to see cooking , dinner & movie with the kiddos more...most of the time on this vlog went to the mishap of move.. Sending prayers for strength, peace & grace 🙏 🤲

As annoying and inconvienient as it was to move moreso was it the way it was handled. Had they simply knocked politely and asked to see the paperwork you were issued then realized there was a mistake made (not really anybody's fault) could have been a mix up in computer system between reservation agencies. then explained the situation you might have been annoyed a little ticked but you would have accepted the move and case closed. BUT he treated you like you were intruders who just parked in any site you wanted and didn't have a care about the property or what they think. and did what you wanted. You only did what you were told to do and minded your own business. let the owner of the property know the situation wasn't handled properly and don't let this ruin you day :).
