@@OverTheHillAdventures Thank you for your reply. I followed you and bought from Home Depot! I'm sure they will replace it if necessary. By the way the first generator Home Depot sent me was in an opened box and had been used. So I've already been through all the phone calls, pickup and delivery deal on a replacement. (a) I had a very old, full, 20lb gas tank. It might not be good. Getting a new one. If it works, great! (b) I learnt the importance of trickle charging, keeping the generator ready to go. My generator is for emergencies, not RV'ing. and for good measure let's say I'm just a tad disabled which makes doing anything so darn slow - but I'm patient and I'll get there!!! :) and finally the two of you seem to have found a great combination of social media sharing and support. A solid model. Thank you!

Hi Greg, here is my suggestion on the bike. My bike is a Giant Anthem Advance Pro 1. I absolutely love my bike. It cost $5,700.00 super light carbon fiber frame the only way I could keep up with Rhonda. Rhonda has a Giant Anthem Advance Aluminum frame just a little heavier both are great bikes. When you buy a Giant bike they guarantee the frame for life as long as you were the first time buyer. Both our bikes are cross country mountain bikes. If I were to do it again, I would buy an e-mountain bike. You get a great work out but have the pedal assist to go up the steep hills. You can go so much further and explore so much more. To get an idea watch our video ebike vs mountain bike. Rhonda’s Dad bought a great e-mountain bike. I’m probably going that way real soon. Let me know what you think. Stan

We bought the 3400 model 2 years ago and have done 3 oil changes to it since, wonderful tool. We found out that if the starting battery goes dead that the pull start will work on propane, but not gasoline. Occasionally the most OCD of ourselves forgets to turn off the battery between uses. My biggest problem is my hitch does not have an extension so I cannot put my tailgate down to horizontal mode during travel stops. Our Lance BAL frame may be smaller than the Grand Design triangle setup, but our tailgate hits our tongue jack. Ask me how I know? My tailgate froze from melting snow and it decided to fall down going down the Interstate which broke the tongue jack switches controlling the LCI jack. So if we buy the Imagine 2670MK we will seek out the hitch extension needed to allow our tailgate to lay flat and therefore we can run our generator while on lunch or overnight parking stops. Thanks,-Dave & Sheila

Hi Dave and Sheila, you know I’ve been using ours quite a bit. Did not know to disconnect the battery between uses. That is a good tip. Thank you! The 2670MK has the same tongue we have. I bought a 4650 dual fuel. I broke it in on gas (non-ethanol). Runs great. I then ran it on propane. Also ran great. I turned off the propane while it was running. A few seconds later it sputtered then kept on running and kept on running. I can only assume it switched over, propane to gas, automatically. I have never heard about this feature. If you have a full tank of gas and a 20lb propane tank you can run for 35 hours at 25% load. I don’t know if the reverse is true, turning the propane on while the generator is running on gas. A test for another day.
@OverTheHillAdventures
@OverTheHillAdventures Год назад
Hello Bosco, I have only ran it on propane. I never even put gas in it yet. I never even thought that it could run for that long. Theoretically your absolutely correct. However, I believe propane will always be dominant because it is a pressurized gas. So once you turn on the propane it will automatically run on propane again. Thank you for your comment!! Stan

Dual fuel is nice but I like remote start over the dual fuel.

Hi Darryl, honestly I thought about that. Remote starts are great. However, when we were at Mammoth National Park I left the generator in the back of my truck. So I check before starting!! It would be scary if you have a gas leak and start it remotely. Only my thought. The propane was so convenient no messy gasoline to deal with. Thanks for watching. Stan

@@OverTheHillAdventures I have the 3500 watt Champion with remote start and I leave mine in the truck and have never had a problem but it is nice when your in the middle of nowhere and you want coffee at 5am and its 20 deg. out side and you hit the remote, now on my 3500 watt the Champion repair shop turned me on to a guy that converts the gas only generators to dual fuel and with remote start

I bought the remote start one as well. Super happy with it. Super quiet and Can’t go wrong with either option in my opinion!

I have the same generator. Champion and EVERY other manufacturer is spewing BS about their product. If you look at the parts list for this generator you'll see the inverter is rated for 3.3 running and 3.8 surge. They pretty much all have the same specs. Try it. It will overload in no time without even coming close to 4,650.

Well, the most important factor it runs my air conditioning and all my appliances in my trailer. I have taken it al over the country twice. With no problems. However, I have only ran it on propane which has a lower watt output. Thank you for your input. Stan

@@chasein7019 I’m not disagreeing with you. Name calling is not necessary on our channel. The point of the video was a dual fuel inverter. I’m sorry you are not happy with your inverter. Thank you!
