Whether any of you admit it or not mawksy is amazing for the game. This game needs rivalries. Needs trash talk. Needs tension. Stories are great. I look forward to watching the next Mawksy RW9 series and I’m going to be sure I watch it in its entirety.

I know no one's perfect though, everyone does this from time to time, I just don't think we should give up on being better by having misguided beliefs that "trash-talking is cool". It really just stops us from being better people. Also, I'm not taking any sides here, so it doesn't matter to me who started. Both players should've acted better. Mawkzy is usually everything but toxic in 1v1. I know french have a reputation for being toxic and rude in general (I hate this stereotype cuz it is not true...), but I am conviced that there is not much more french toxic players than somewhere else. sry for my bad english btw. And people spreading this stereotype have never been to France, atleast outside Paris...

I'm pretty sure he was using the fact that he is generally a worse player in 3s as a way to tilt Rw9. For me if someone who was like champ or diamond was shit talking me in 2s, when i own their ass in 1s, i'd get tilted that a bad player thinks they are better than me. I actually like smack talk in sports. The mental game is such a huge aspect of sports and watching someone whose good at getting in their opponents heads is really something to behold. Like Devon Laratt in armwrestling. I think having to overcome mental obstacles actually elevates competitors in a sport. That being said, with Devon at least he shows respect after the match. I didnt like the way Mawkzzy just left without saying ggs. Even though RW9 started the trash talk I thought it was classy of him to still say ggs after and Id have liked to see Mawkzzy do the same but that could just be a part of how he likes to play the mental game.

Everything about this aged so well. RW9 just dominated Frances best players in a 4-0 sweep (the first team to knockout vitality btw). And he also won the grand final in Feer’s tournament vs Mawksy

Since this matchup, rw9 won 4/5 times he played against Mawkzy (including the sweep in low ping against Mawkzy before the Copenhagen Major )leaving the overall series score to 11-10 in favor of the frenchmen.

What some people don't realize is the difference between toxicity and trash talk. The way I see it, being toxic is a personality trait, and trash talk is just being rude. While toxic people almost always trash talk, even some of the nicest people will trash talk from time to time.

Sure the encounter is a bit uncanny but its entertaining, and the players that decide to compete there in the first place know they're being streamed live to thousands of people so what they do is completely on them. Also about the firstkiller situation he apologized, and there isn't really much extra behind anything that happened there in the first place so anyone that still hates him is blind in a way.
