"RWBY: After The Fall" Team CFVY Initiation Animatic

This was a really fun project to work on! I illustrated most of Chapter 2 of "RWBY: After the Fall", with the flashback to team CFVY's initiation as first years at Beacon. Thank you so much to everyone who helped me with the voices and music for this project! Please check out their links I've provided below!

I don’t know how I missed this before! First of all, how did you get the real Shannon McCormick??? 😂 Secondly… Fox is exactly how I imagined him. Hot. (🤣), Funny, smooth. Coco sounds SO RIGHT. Same with Yatsu. And I love Velvet’s accent so much and how you kept it! This is so awesome!

Yatsuhashi is very soft spoken, calm, and resolute. I think you captured that excellently. I look forward to seeing your other parts moving forward. Yatsuhashi has some of the more emotional beats in the book due to the nature of his Semblance.

I’m confused how fox is able to operate or not. He can sense mines I know that, but does he really need Coco to explain when there’s two steps in front of him? How is able to do things like pull off a landing strategy?

He also has an earpiece device that connects to his scroll with a program called ADA (Accessibility Dialogue Assistant), which gives him information about his surroundings. In the novel he used it for his landing strategy. I didn’t illustrate that part here.

I never got this part. It is in your interest to partner with someone you can work well with but you alsi get partnered with the first person you see. Makes absolute sense
