That's her weapon name? I swear I never know anything about that anime but her weapon is genuine peak Instead of wield like those god-like anime characters she use her and it's own weight and .50 recoil to launch and accelerate her in each hit, it's crazy idea bro too much impressive

like many great artists, he was taken too soon. BUT! he left behind a legacy to live up to. the man spent so much time animating, that he had no time for anything else. THIS TRAILER! was what he did in his spare time while being the animator for red vs blue....and rooster teeth green lit rwby.

Every single Monty Oum fight is a masterpiece. I obsess over choreography in everything. They're are fue masterpieces, but every Monty Oum fight is a masterpiece.

Yep, War scythe mode. I can only think of 2 times Ruby ever used it.

I watched this video (because I'm am not interested in supplementary content or trailers), and when I noticed that feature, I was shooketh and wanted to see if anyone else saw this and knew what is was. Why isn't this aspect of her weapon used more often? Did Roosterteeth just forget about it?

​@@ironicprofilepic6367 Being the well trained warrior that Ruby is, I think she only uses war scythe mode in scenarios where it would be more effective than its regular scythe mode. Said scenarios being uncommon.

@@peterwright5358 uncommon? What do you think the name "war scythe" suggests? It was repurposed for war, and war encourages effectiveness and efficiency. Said scenarios where it would be more effective would be most scenarios. The enemy doesn't use shields and the enemy doesn't use pole arms. Having it in war scythe mode more often is a no brainer, it extends her reach and provides a better blade to shaft ratio (means you have more blade to effectively cut with). The only advantage there is to its usual mode is that stabbing attacks are more effective (but hoe often does she stab). Skallagrim and Shadiversity both made pretty good videos on War Scythes.

I mean no disrespect to monty, I enjoy his work and his passion, but I disagree with your statement. Monty had great ideas and more preferable plans for the series, but he would animate things ahead of the time and the writers would be forced to bullshit their way towards those premade animations. Is it his fault that the writers couldn't bullshit to the animation in a better way? No, it is also and mostly the fault of the writers, but his tendency to throw animations and ideas was damaging. Monty and Roosterteeth had bad communication and conflicting ways to tell a story. That being said, I would definitely prefer Monty's vision over what Roosterteeth made.

you 3 look realy negative ye ok i came to the series only 7 days back i watched the whole series 2 times soon i start run 3 but what they do is good too good fight ,. good character telling good drama. i not think the series can live with only jokes and the low quality from season1 and2 also the grafics. they do too a good job and i want 200 more seasons of this series its epic and fantastic . this monti drama is like jack sparrow jonny not on board so no pirates of the karibian . ye good is always super but you can not get what you want then you need to do it yourself.

At this point I believe Monty would be very disappointed with what has become his of his art from what I hear that rooster teeth pretty much pulled a Disney and pretty much got rid of his vision for rwby and got ride of anyone who shared his vision that was working on the show wich included his wife .
