Everyone loved V7 Winter so she's back again! What a crazy volume am I right? ko-fi.com/crazywolf828 Obviously I own nothing, this is just a fun quarantine project, all credit goes to RT and the people who worked on the show!
@@timur5241 idk if its universal or anything but its like an older sibling covering for a younger sibling from an abusive parent. by interceding and acting like you're on the authority figures side and 'punishing' the person who is stepping out of line, you can usually protect them from a worse punishment by sort of acting like the lesser punishment you suggest is the authority figures idea. but you also have to sort of put all the blame on the person stepping out so that the authority figure doesn't then get mad at *you*. idk its just a thing that happens in a house with siblings and parents who are a certain kind of angry/abusive
Grimm in Vacuo: Oh hell yes boys open buffet out her WHOOOO Winter appears and the DOOM soundtrack starts. Grimm: I would like to start by saying sorry.
Do you guys realised? Her leitmotif exactly like Maiden theme. Not only her, also Cinder, Raven and even Neo has this Maiden leitmotif. Neo probably gonna get fall Maiden powers.
@@Terranova57821 After an arc of redemption for Neo, Cinder will have to face three maidens who litteraly hate her guts, that's the other side of the coin for wanting all for herself...
The fact that Winter losing Weiss was already foreshadowed And not to sound pity, but you overlooked the scene in IW's office where Harriet states that she let yang and the others go
She may not think much of it now, since she's in the lead at the moment, but....Cinder is making A LOT of enemies! To be fair, she could probably take on most of them with the maiden powers and Salem's guidance, but she has 4+ people who have a score to settle with her. Ruby Rose, Jaune Arc, Winter Schnee, and Neopolitan all having a bone to pick with Cinder. Honestly, you might even add Emerald in there, as she may have the temptation to rejoin Cinder, but she wouldn't forget the trust Oscar has placed in her, so she may not directly fight Cinder, but try to undermine and disrupt her plans. Plus, It is going to be SOOOOOO satisfying to see the color drop for Cinder's face when she see's Ruby is still alive, and probably/hopefully more skilled in combat and her silver eye's gift. It will also be a truly wholesome moment when Winter and Weiss are reunited and Jaune reunites with his team
Cinder's basically been making nothing but enemies nonstop since the Season 3 finale. Ruby, Jaune, Winter, and Neo have a vested interest in beating her, she's lost almost all of her allies, and I'm like 90% sure that Salem's going to realize that she's more of a liability than an asset at some point. She's also rapidly losing whatever advantage the maiden powers gave her as the main cast gets stronger so at this point it's not a question of 'if' she gets her ass beat, but 'when.'
@@mitchellsaisho1184 And she tries to use it as a "trump card" but everyone knows how to counter it because she's not very good at combat in general. She's also not very good at evil plans without relic knowledge
You forgot Raven lol, she has TWO maidens coming for her, Oz, the entire cast of huntsmen and huntresses, and that hacker guy if he made it alive. But i predict Salem already knows what cinder is up to and that she's been lying to her the whole time so she's probably just gonna one shot her in a very anti-climactic way
She lives up to her new title, that’s for sure. I’m happy she became the Winter Maiden! It’s too bad about Penny though… But, at least the good guys have a bit of an advantage since Team RWBY and Jaune are gonna be MIA for a little bit.
Raven kicked her ass alone, until it came to deliver the finishing blow, where she had some assistance and I think the only reason Winter didn't kill her was because she lost the mental fight when Weiss seemingly died for just long enough to let Cinder get away
Never noticed before that in the penny/winter scene she’s wearing her outfit from previous volumes rather than this one. Wonder if it’s a mistake or simply because that’s what she was wearing the last time Penny saw her?
I disagree. She wasn't ready to receive the maiden powers at the start of V8. She was still just following Ironwoods orders mostly without question. It's like she said, it was more like she was the machine, just following orders and Penny was the person, making her own choices. She finally started making her own choices and at that moment she became ready for the powers.
Eh, there’s no tension in that desert…not only do they have a maiden’s worth of firepower but these a very easy narrative out as to how help arrived for them in the desert…
4:35 “where he belong” I've genuinely never seen someone make that mistake while talking before. was that in the script, or was that just a mistake the actress for winter made?
