I think the part at 18:25 is about Ruby idolizing Summer and her saying "i'll be you but i'll be even more." refering to I'll be like you were Summer but i will be even more than you.

I like to think the "i always get too high" lyric implies ruby is meta aware of how many times she's falling from the fucking sky in openings.

Jumped off a fucking bridge. 5. Volume 3 Opening. 6. Flew out of the Arena on a locker. 7. Jumped off an atlas airship. 8. Ran up Tower. 9. Bad. Landing. Strategy. 10. Nora Launch pad. 11. Missile Parkour. 12. Jumps into a mechs gun. 13. Tactical Eye Blast. 14. Volume 7 Opening. 15. New oufit debut landing strategy. 16. Volume 8 Opening (happy never again bit) 17. Fell into the Ever After. 18. Volume 9 Opening. 19. Fell into pit to the TOP OF THE TREE. 20. Falling in void...spirit...space thing. 21. Falling after jumping through door. this song is from Rubys perspective as are the other parts except part 2 as that is shared between summer and ruby whereas this one is Soley Rubys perspective so the lyric "can you see me up there" is ruby asking summer if she can see what Shes going through the other lyric "were you at least called a friend" is asking her mom if people thought of her as a friend or if she was a completley seprate entity from the one ruby put on a pedestal and tried so hard to mimic

No Mother Gothel was so old that when Rapunzel’s magic hair wasn’t making her young anymore she literally turned to ash/dust falling out of the tower.
