Poor Bob. Just picked up a 6600 for under $200USD and this is the game I play. Waited and waited for the price to drop and got it. Now just have to wait for it to ship. Thanks for the review and testing. Really helps me see what to expect.
@@ultratronger they mentioned a 3060, why would I mention another card. No reason to start arguing for the 6700xt lol Plus at least here the 6700xt is and always way more expensive 2nd hand, more like the 3060ti
Hey man, love your work :P keep going! However, I have a little suggestion regarding GTA V: please, also try some benchmarks in Sandy Shores zone (the countryside), since there’s so many particles and it’s very heavy there. I think many GPUs can easily squeeze 60+ fps in the city, but in the countryside it drops to Even 40s PS: please, make more rtx 3060 ti vids lol
AMD GPUs aren't good for ray tracing but some games are good like ghost runner and cyberpunk I have rx 6600 and im getting like 80fps with raytracing max settings on ghostrunner @@user-wq9mw2xz3j
Kryzzp, I just bought a 6600 for £259 in the UK inspired by your last positive video about it! MSRP here is £300 and actual price of the hellhound I got is £360, so should be a decent deal :)
In reality the gameplay never went over 60fps in all modes, as in your settings you had the refresh rate set at 60hz for all the different settings. Cheers
I think one day when watching one of your videos and you bring up Jack again i will have an aneuyrsm and die. I twitch thinking of the amount of time ive watched as you talk about jack. XD
Kryzzp :- I expected jack to be here oh *he's here* Jack :- *runs away* Kryzzp:- I'm not gonna hit u I hit Jacklyn cuz she's bad person Oh sorry *SHE'S NOT A PERSON EVEN* *EMOTIONAL DAAAAMAGE*🤣
Chris I'm using the same settings as you but I only go to like 80-something. The CPU isn't bottlenecking and neither is the VRAM, and VSync is off, you got any ideas as to what could be the issue?
@@Rayork All I've found is it's a single core issue. One core of the CPU gets stressed out more than the others and the game can't run at high FPS even tho it should be able to. Don't know how true it is because from what I've seen otherwise the game seems well optimized but I have no other explanation, RAM usage is low, the GPU isn't maxed out, the game is on an SSD, there's nothing else that will stop it from getting high FPS When I drop the settings to low the game goes up to 120 but again, nothing is maxed out
Hey, how do you reach 99% gpu utilization in GTA V? I have an rtx 3060 and struggling to get 90+FPS , my gpus utilization is around 45/50%, and my CPU is always 100%. Same with Warzone and R6, in other games i reach 99%. My CPU is an I5 8600K stock clock
You don't have to reach 99% utilization. The cpu is bottlenecking it. It's only really a problem if you think that the 90+fps you are getting is too low. But also, if you want, you could turn up graphics settings and resolution and you would still have same fps. If you want more fps, you can overclock the 8700k. Not a lot though, if you only have stock cooler. That cpu hasn't got multithreading/hyperthreading, which limits it.
I have the same GPU with a i5 10400 and 16gb of ram yet i only get half of your performance. Around 90-100 fps in 1080p. That doesn't seem right, does it? And that's even with MSAA off
@@zWORMzGaming Didn't knew GTA 5 was so CPU intensive. I might have to upgrade to a i7 or i9 10th gen then. The CPU usage in game though is only around 5%, but i guess the clock speed is the limiting factor then? The clock speed in game is at 4006 Mhz.
Would it be good for me to play GTARP with an I710700K, 16GB 3200MHZ, RADEON RX 6600 XT 8GB MSI MECH 2X, SAMSUNG 27' 75HZ 1080p monitor, would it be good for me to play in 1080p high-very high?
Online is more CPU intensive, GPU performance is the same but most people are CPU bottlenecked when playing online. So it's basically a CPU test, not GPU test :) Thanks!
Then you either are using different settings, have a CPU bottleneck or are playing online which is more CPU intensive My 3060Ti test: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eQpOy8RjL4g.html It obliterates the 6600!
@@zWORMzGaming i tried 1080p on max settings (no advanced graphics) and it runs at 80-90 fps, and I don’t notice any bottlenecks with my i5-11400f in modded story mode.
Why do AMD cards always cleave off 16mb of vram off their total amount? For example, the RX 5500xt has 4080mb vram, which is 16mb less than 4096mb (4gb), and this card has 8176mb vram, whereas actual 8gb vram is 16mb more (8192mb)
I just had this card today it performs great but im having like shimmering artifacts and washed up color on games, do you know anything i can do? Rx6600 Ryzen 5 5600x 32gb ram
Hello my friend, I have an RX 6600 and I applied the same settings as you, but my card usage does not exceed 70%. My processor is an i3 10100 and the frame rate does not exceed 100 fps and it keeps dropping. Is there an explanation?
@@kingzzp613 yes, buy a new gpu. Or, if you are skilled technician, you could possibly switch out the vram chips on the card, to double. But you'd have to get those chips from another card anyways...
