I'm a proud owner of a Sapphire Pulse RX 6600 ,and it was the best bang for buck gpu I purchased after the gpu market crashed last year. It can handle any newly released game with reasonable settings and acceptable frame rates.

@@facts22423 I have an I3 10105F with a 3200mhz 32gb slotted in a z490 mobo. I get 10% performance uplift because of the ram speed but an I3 12100F would be a better choice in the long run.

@@haru-kun6495 Since I've medical complications from catching covid 2 years ago, I can't use an air conditioner for too long ,so under an average room temperature with a ceiling fan it can reach 75c max ,but in the hottest portion of summer I avoid to do any intensive long gaming sessions.

This is a nice benchmark using 5800x3D, i'm still on 10105f and currently contemplating on upgrading, on some games like Cyberpunk, the fps difference isn't so much, probably gonna stay a while longer until i can afford better gpu then do cpu/platform upgrade

i have an RX6600 and it's still awesome for playing curent games, and remember GPUs 100w with $200 beat 170w with almost same performance , but I laughed when I heard about the power consumption of the RX7600

It’s curious, but in Russia both cards cost the same. The difference was $50 when I bought the rtx3060 12gb. However, everyone advised me to buy 6600xt.. As for energy consumption, I undervolted it to a level where there is no loss of performance. Consumption has decreased to 100-110w

@@MrMedk I live in Bali, but here the average household electricity is only 900 watts, so a GPU with a small power is the best choice, but I once had a 3060 12GB used for mining 1 year before, but I don't think the performance is too different from the RX6600 because I never used RT , FYI . in here i'bought an rx6600 only $122 🤣

@@ansyvanher8596 Regarding consumption. I have 100-110w at maximum load in cyberpunk with dlss quality and rt overdrive mode. In other games the consumption is lower.

@@scarfaceReaper you're talking about the 6700xt. Which costs me $150 more than the rtx3060. This makes it a bad option to buy. However, if I had that kind of money, I would rather save up some more and buy an rtx4070. which costs $100 more than the 6700xt

I love my Gigabit Eagle 6600. It stays cool too. Red dead 2 I get 60c and around 80-90fps maxed out settings.

I have rx 6600 and Ryzen 5 5600 because it's better than rtx 3060. Rtx 3060 was better in 1440 p but it doesn't matter i have 1080 p anyways

DLSS wins by miles but it won't be long until FSR 3.1 releases. For me the RX 6600 still wins generally since it's cheaper, uses less power and such a minor difference in FPS for the price

I think rx6600 is the best choice for 1080p gameplay gpus cheaper than 6600 only have 4GB VRAM, and 8GB VRAM is essential for 1080p 60fps In addition, productions which have been discontinued are relatively expensive

Believe it or not you can pick used RX 6600 that has the same price as RTX 2060 Super,just a bit expensive fro RX 6600 but nothing to be concerned,the price of RX 6600 is around 149 and 2060S is around 130,both gpu are great if you planing to replace 1060,im 3060ti btw but i couldnt disagree that RX 6600 is the choice for its price to perf.if you youre looking direct competitor to 3060 ti variant,go for RX 6600XT,if you got more spare in your budget go for RTX 3060ti as its great for gaming /editing and Advanced ai tech as well

@@bakaneko6639 well if mine,i always go for nvidia gpu ecspecially 3060/3060ti cause right now i got a 3060ti for only 190(used) in my country,whereseas rx 6600 it cost around 160 - 180 i believe for the used GPU.for the non XT i should be similar to Ti version of 3060.Amd GPU usually cheaper than nvidia with cost of expensive electricity bill,this is due to high power consumption its around 50 percent higher than nvidia,which mean it require you to buy a higher Wattage/quality of PSU to power up the AMD gpu, and for the nvidia 550W psu should be suffiecient enough,you dont have to buy a new psu, which mean yoy can save a few bucks

Similar enough performance but if you can find the rx6600 for 210 or even 250 then go for it Trust me You wont regret it You wont have dlss or RT but the 3060 isnt the most ideal gpu for rt anyway so yeah and dlss is basically fsr but slightly better I've been using both fsr and dlss and in most games you can barley notice any difference It will also give you the same fps So yeah if you live in a country where the rx6600 is cheaper then go for it And if you live in a country where the 3060 is cheaper then go for it Performance is almost the same It reminds of 3050 desktop vs 3060 laptop with the 3060 laptop being like 7fps faster in most games Price will be your main deciding factor here

to run triple aa games 16 gigbytes of ram are required to play them. Ram is so cheap nowadays and it can boost your performance by even 80% only by switching to 16 gb ddr4 and 3200 mhz. I highly suggest upgrading ram before anything else because ram can be a HUGE bottleneck and its so cheap to fix

@@Raghav-gd3fn If you have the budget to pay for an RTX 3060-12GB and you are an Nvidia-Lover and/or you are interested in Streaming/DLSS etc, then you should buy the RTX 3060-12GB, but if you want to have a better Price-Performance ratio (with an equal or lower budget), then it would be better for you to buy the AMD RX 6700XT-12GB. * And go for 6600 if you're in tight budget.

6600 costs $210, 3060 12GB costs $280, why are you comparing them? with that bigger difference in price compare the 3060 12gb to the 67000xt which costs $320 and see who wins instead. That gap being smaller than this one you tested lol

In that case the fair comparison would be with a 3060 (TI) vs (XT), here the common versions are compared, and no, the comparison is in analogues in power, not in price, for that you have other comparisons. Check the 3060 ti vs the 6600 xt to see who wins. ;)

Keep in mind, not all comparison videos are about which is better, but what is the performance difference. This video is exactly what I needed to know if I'm fine getting a 6600 or if I should get the 3060 as an affordable option from Nvidia.
