this is why i bought rx 6800, exactly for this, most games runs at 4k optimised or using fsr and i dont see any diference from ultra native settings. 16 gb vram also is future proof. one of best investement few years ago when i bought new for 300 euros in my insane overpriced country market.
@stixktv__9999 my brother in christ nvidia literally is the company that doing the propaganda and i call ur words cap cuz aint no way u comparing 3060ti to 6800 xddd
@@ibrahimfekry3610 that's my point lmao, the 6800 should be the 3070 ti challenger but a 3060 ti can get close to it. And when rt and dlss are enable, it's even superior to the 6800. Plus NVIDIA gives DSR and reflex. Rtx 3060 ti : 400$ usd, rx 6800 : 580$ it's quit embarassing for AMD. Fortunately to AMD they trough a whopping 16gb of vram at it to handle bad optimized games at 1440p and make it an effective marketing point.
@@zWORMzGaming Oh hey Kryzzp, you're gonna hit 500K subs soon, I remembered that you were gonna make a GPU song or something lol (from what I remembered, I have horrible memory), will you still do that?
Very nicely done Mr. Wormz. I especially like that you talk about bad TAA being comparable to the bubonic plague but for games. Maybe you don't say exactly that but that's what I believe, anyway, and I also like your usage of optimized settings instead of cranking everything up to ultra. Now, I recommend you also show overclocking and overclocking in your videos, at least with cards that respond well to it like the 6800. I understand that not all silicon is the same, but you could show the full extent of your card's OC/UV capabilities just as a showcase of what the card can do when tweaked. Better yet, if your overclock ends up being "too high" to show as a realistic expectation for the 6800, you could even show a lower overclock with a higher voltage, to show what people might probably be able to do with their card. For reference, I probably got unlucky with my 6800's silicon as I get 2445MHz as a stable OC but can't lower the voltage at all from the maximum 1025mV. Even then I got an average of 82 FPS or so in RDR2 with the same settings as in your video, at 1080p with 2x resolution scale (essentially 4K I believe). That's 14FPS higher than with your card that's set to 2164MHz as compared to mine's 2445MHz, all with what's probably bad luck with the silicon. Thanks for reading and good luck with your videos
My GOAT You're the only one who owns so many different graphics cards 😂, who is always honest, who does the most in-depth tests, please continue to make videos about the RX 6800, I'm about to receive my very first PC and I've put this magnificent card in it, I can't wait to test it, it looks so strong.
There was an app called lossless upscale in steam cost 7$ which add frame generation 2.1 in any game and work with any gpu, better test it if it's really work
AMD made a real great GPU series with rx6000 ... it's amazing how very well this rx6800 can do the job today for a GPU launch in 2020 ! Just one of the best GPU made by AMD.
Hi! I ended up selling it because those videos have the worst like/dislike ratio for some reason! But I'm thinking of buying one again, most subscribers liked it anyways :) thank you!!
I buy this card a month ago and result is so good with 32gb ram ddr4 and 5600G,run all games on ultra with +60fps, I think it will be enough for the next 5 years Which budget Ryzen processor could upgrade, for future games?
I set resolution to 4k and used FSR quality and it made look this game much better than native 1440p! Don't know why TAA and DLSS is so bad.. MSAA is great but tanks a lot of performance till you get good visibility.
Interesting. Rx 6700xt and rx 6800 seem to be really similar in rdr2, especially at 1080p and 1440p. In fact, in ur rx 6700xt review u had even higher avg. fps
I tested Hardware Unboxed's settings in the 6700XT video. This is the first time I tested BenchmarKing's settings, which look a bit better but are also quite a bit more intensive! Can't directly compare :)
Ill probably regret getting the 7700XT over the 6800 for a long long time. Not my fault entirely, the 7700 was at 450 euros + free Starfield game (which is loved playing) and the 6800 was extinct even on used market. I dont like buying from amazon because you never know what you're gonna get... anyway it doesn't matter to much. I game in 1080p and 99% of the time im ending up capping my frames so my pc doesnt turn into a damn oven
I use Benchmark king's optimised settings in every game he does a video on cuz games look very similar to max settings and run with double the framerate
I tested these settings on 4060 ti 8gb eagle oc, at 4k Dlss 3.7.10 Quality i have 62fps avg, 0.1% low at 45 and 1% low 49 fps , 73 fps max in strawberry, throwing dynamite and mototov, wheater “snowing whiteout” from trainer.
I would shake the camera back and forth in ray tracing games and super high load GPu games and just shake the camera until it got smooth and synced so spinning also a good idea for ai training so when online playing professionally you would auto dominate
amd has a problem with this game specially in rx 6000 series. When you use Resizable Bar or (SAM for amd) Vram will tank all the way up until it reaches it’s limit so the game crashes. This only happens with the Vulkan API
@@lucasgawor7471 Why is it nonsense? Basically what you are doing is forcing the monitor to show more pixels than what it capable of showing. Of course the UI and everything will be rescaled to match the resolution but the amount of 4K pixels will be cramped into 1080p pixels so it would look not as sharp or crisp as native 4K monitor because in fact it's still a 1080p monitor. It will look sharp on 1080p resolution wicis the native of that monitor. Please elaborate if you have a better explaination? 🤷♀
3.175mhz to 3.4449ghz boost max ram oc even bios to full unlock, then burn in and ai training software furmark etc... sold it xfx 6800 merc , dude in queens new york
My Asus Tuf RX 7900 XTX with this driver version 24.6.1 get all time Driver Timeout error! I'm found driver 23.30.13.05 no more lags and driver timeout
I recently got a Gigabyte 6900 XT Gaming OC. AMD recommends 850W PSU but I only have 750W. Hopefully it's ok because my CPU isn't that good (5600). Maybe I'll undervolt or something
I ran the 6900XT on a 750W PSU for a week without issues. I also ran a 3080Ti on it for a year, all was good. If it's a good quality PSU it'll be fine! I used a Corsair RM750i
4070super for the win yes its more but way worth the feature set and driver performance you get. lets be real here you get what you pay for . the only time i will recommend amd from now on is at the budget range anything over like a rx7600 and just dont bother go nvida. and again not a fanboy I've always praised amd but lately their just not good for reliability.
Game looks like shit with TAA at 1080-1440p, no matter what u choose medium or high its still blurry! I have the rx6800 and playing the game on ultra in 1440p and fps cap at 55 with 1.25 scale resolution and custom TAA mod that fixes this blurriness
Hi! I think I tested it in its full review :) Probably not gonna test it in a separate video, these AMD cards aren't getting too many views unfortunately :(
This game is overrated. I think BenchmarKing's settings was better and more updated, compatible with the latest version of the game. Similar to Forbidden West, previously I used Digital Foundry settings but it was not good enough. And then I tried BenchmarKing and damn, it was better and makes the game more bearable than other big channels. He literally understand that not everyone have such powerful hardware even on midrange tier. Truly my go to channel for optimized settings these days. Such a shame that Hardware Unboxed no longer making these optimization videos anymore like they did 4-5 years ago. 🤷♀
hey may i ask where to buy a cheap used 5700 xt or 6600 xt in the internet, like 160 dollars below in an online shop that is not filled with scammers and scalpers.
Hey! Yes, it is overpriced and it doesn't do that well at 4K. A 6800 is faster and cheaper for example. If you want Nvidia and their DLSS / FG you should add 50$ and buy a 4070, much better than the 4060Ti and it'll actually play games at 4K. Although, then you are really close to the 4070Super's price, which is 20% faster! haha But yeah, the 4060Ti isn't worth it, there are better options both from Nvidia and AMD
Does having both Adrenaline (for the drivers) and Afterburner (for the fan curve) installed cause any conflicts? Also, could you share your fan curve settings? I just got an rx 6800 and it’s running a bit hot. Thanks for responding-huge fan!
5:40 a little bit? This game is known for having one of the worst taa impl, is a freaking unplayable blurry mess unless you mod it I only hope rockstar doesnt make this same shit to gta 6 :(. Crisp as gta5 pls
This is really good, probably the best price/perform GPU honestly. If you need more performance or DLSS 3, the 4070 Super is also good value, but it's way more expensive... I don't think the 6800 can be beaten these days
I saw many people using DLSS and FG. Who uses raster performance alone these days? High resolution is essential. Radeon without DLSS and FG is trash. FSR?? Don't say this, this is so trash xD (For reference, I use RTX 4080 and trash RX 6900) so 2024 in radeon = trash lol
