I always prefer an 8-core CPU. Sometimes the games I play get bottlenecked and most of the time I find out it's because of my CPU. You should determine whether or not you want to go with that based off what you do...whether it's intense games or productivity. @@user-vu3sx6he5v

Недавно стал владельцем rx7800xt и да старт CS2 на этой карте реально не удачный все началось с банов и плохой оптимизацией. Покупкой доволен, играю в 4к60, думаю в будущем драйверами все исправят. Спасибо за видео 👍

this vid is making me feel much better about my recent pick up deal on an Ebay 6800xt phantom OC for $410. playing 1440p w/5900x, Rust runs with no hiccups and smoothness in games is way better than the 3070 eagle i had. i need a 20+ frame jump to justify upgrading and these are about the same except for couple of exceptions.

In Russia there would be such prices, here in some stores the 7800xt is sold for $780. On marketplaces you can buy it for $620, which is a super good price...

@@Jason_Bover9000 you can find a lot of good videos on youtube on how to do it, in short u give it less power for a set clock speed to maximize performance but at the lowest possible volts u can give the card without crashing :)

Driver updates will make it much better than the 6800 xt this is normally how it goes with amd also this is a brand new card and the price will drop in the following months to come it’s great buy in my opinion.

@@maxzoRHD hmm real question is what incredible gains are you expecting when upgrading from a 500-800€ gpu to a 550-800€ one? Isn’t the fact that it holds pace with its big brother cards like the 600-900€ 6950xt and has the added benefit of long term driver support being part of the 7000 series and therefore more room for optimization and improvement already good enough for ~50€ more than the 6800xt?

To keep it more simple, 6000 series is 2 years old, from 7000 series with new drivers etc.. and the time it went by, you would expect a lot more gains, for all models, 7800xt barely wins over a 6800xt (and 6900xt should be around 10% better then 6800xt). And if you look at the specs, 7800xt only boosts more, and has a bit faster memory, everything else has been cut down quite a lot , compared to other 6000 series models.( 6800xt, 6900xt and 6950xt. And its not close to a 6950xt, that is just not true .6950xt outpreforms a 6900xt by almost 10/15%. And with some overclocking/undervolting, you can get almost 10% more preformance. (Based on my Timespy results, mine does .)@@guccipucci3941

@@kxiju8531 i don't really play many gpu intensive games tho, i will probably only play valorant, cs2, overwatch2, rocket league and minecraft with shaders at 1440 240hz. do you still think i should go for the 7800xt? edit: i might play some apex but as shown from the benchmarks the fps is almost the same and 6800xt system also consumes less power

@@skypsyco916 the 6800xt is drawing more power, the numbers on this benchmark for the 6800xt are chipset only not TBP like the 7800xt is reporting. when the 6000 series graphics cards came out, they weren't that good but after 3 years of drivers they've aged like fine wine. the 7800xt is too immature to judge just yet, it's an investment for sure.

Should i buy the rx 6800xt on 2024 ? In my country used rx 6800xt with a month testing warrenty is about $360 . The new rx 7800xt base model is $620 . But my only concern is on the long run can i reliy on used GPU ?

yes, used is good unless the bios was moded for and heavily crypto mined, but even then, as long as you can overclock the memory 150MHz and it doesn't crash it's good to go just run benchmarks like 3D MARK time spy or use ASUS furmark ROG edition to confirm it's performing on par with other GPUs if not return it. modern GPU's have built in protection so unless it was modified through bios reflash and hardware mods it will be a safe purchase, a bad GPU will usually fail before the first year of use after that you will likely never experience failure or even degradation I just picked up the Power color Red Devil RX6800XT to replace my perfectly fine used RTX 2080 super the guy was using it in an enclosure for external laptop GPU when I got it the fan wire was cut off and missing he said he didn't even know I ended up keeping it and negotiating $150 off and replaced the $16 fan myself final cost tax and shipping was only $280.47 and it works like new and overclocks like a beast benchmarks over the RTX 4070 super performance

the RX7000 series cards must be undervolted manually to achieve higher clock speeds you want to set the core clock slider 100 MHZ higher than your target speed then slowly lower the voltage while running a benchmark in windowed loop mode and watch the clocks boost higher until it crashes then just raise the voltage and or lower the core slider into its average boost clock range

Agreed but if you are upgrading then know that power used can have a direct influence over the outcome of fps,I just built my first gaming pc and with a PCIE5 ready gaming graphics card slot and 32 gb of DDR5 Ram and PCIE5 ssd ,and a 7800 3d cpu, then we will see,everything is based upon what is built.

7800xt really is a joke upgrade. The 7800xt we should have gotten was the 7900xt but instead AMD decide to milk money and damage there reputation further. I'm glad i went for the 6800xt it's been a storming card and i hope AMD will do better in the future but i kinda doubt it. I think my next upgrade will be from the used market down the line but who knows to early yet.

7800xt is more efficient. 6800xt only reports chipsets power draw, not the total board power like 7800xt does, adding vram pub and fans 6800xt draws nearly 300w

@@Qelyn the 6800xt and the 7800xt on average only has a 5-7% difference in performance. In fact, on other titles like cs2 the 6800xt actually ran better compared to the 7800xt. I think youre expecting way too much difference between the two.

@@Qelyn then you factor in drivers. Rdna3 drivers will improve overtime.

@@JegsTV the 6800 xt was weaker at launch after 3-4 months it had updates and had better performance its the same with all gpus my 7800 XT preforms the same as a 4070 TI and beats it at 4K due to it getting limited by the 12GB vram it falls behind a couple frames. I think its not a great idea instantly comparing new to old as usually driver updates make the new work alot better
