RX-7 Working AC on Standalone ECU (Haltech)

It's been a super hot summer so far and the RX-7 is definitely one of the worst cars to be driving in this heat, so made it a priority to fix the AC!
With the Haltech Elite 550, the car did not come wired for AC, so we had to hardwire the climate control to the existing factory connectors and program the Haltech software to turn on/off the compressor with the climate controller.

Im thinking of purchasing this Haltech. Whats the advantage of this Ecu?

For what car and what mods? Highly modded, especially 90s cars will end up needing a standalone once you change turbo, injector size, fuel type, etc. With a standalone you can wire in a bunch of sensors that didnt come factory and you can setup CAN displays for your sensor readings. Plus launch control, boost by gear, and tuning safety nets. The list just keeps going on but that’s the gist of what standalones are for. However, wont pass emissions in most states unless exempt by mileage or age.

Hey man any tips on how to get my 87 rx7 to pass emissions without air pump or other emission stuff can I do it tuning with this ecu?

87 doesnt need emissions in ny

I was hoping you'd cover your settings within the calibration lol, because I got my AC charged yesterday but the compressor isn't getting power. I ran 1E to input and 1L to output, and I need to change button mode to 'push on, push off', and I guess I'd need to change 'switch on' and 'switch off' to your settings (did you put 0.8v in switch on and 5v in switch off?), but I'm not sure what to put in for 'pull up enable', or for 'active state' or 'drive type' under AC output. Great video though! I like that you went through the wiring in the ECU connectors, I think that's the type of info most people will look for.
