This was the moment I was first introduced to Ryan. I was drunk and high and half passed out with an eye open. Saw some pretty clean-cut looking guy in suit. Watched the song, and afterwards, I'm like "am I that messed up, or was that guy REALLY good?" Within a week or two he became my favorite musician.

Letterman ALWAYS had something extra to say when introducing Ryan, he was a true fan and knew damn well how brilliant he was
