He’s super talented…definitely a triple threat (sing, dance and act). Before he became famous, many of us remember him from the old Disney channel show, Mickey Mouse Club. As a kid he was on there with Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake, and JC Chasez. There are still old videos of them singing and dancing on here.

Hands down best part of the Oscars. So bummed he didn’t win supporting actor because he was so great in Barbie.

The other guy playing guitar that you see at the end on the far right all in black with long hair next to Slash is Wolf Van Halen, Eddie's son.

It’s was his moment, and he obviously was having so much fun. The dancers in the foreground are the main Kens in the movie.

oh also - there is a video where Mark Ronson is getting interviewed about writing and composing this song and he says to someone he would love to get "someone like Slash" to perform in it, and the person told him to just ask him. So Mark did. Slash apparently said yes right away, and even was familiar with how well Ryan sings.

The Oscars should be able to compete with a halftime football show. 😂

The four guys at the front are the actors from the movie, who play the other Kens: Ncuti Gatwa (Sex Education and Doctor Who), Simu Liu (Shang-Chi), Kingsley Ben-Adir (Secret Invasion) and Scott Evans (One Life to Live and brother of Chris Evans).

You should check out La La Land; it was a musical he did with Emma Stone (who was one of the people he lent the mic to right before the end). He was nominated for best actor for it, and Emma Stone won for best actress.

Absolutely love this performance but oh man, I’m glad you said that about Slash’s thin guitar tone. I’ve been saying that for 30 years. He’s a great player, and his guitar sounds great on the GnR records, but his live tone has always sucked.

Now we just need Matt Damon, Emily Blunt, Florence Pugh, Timothee Chalamet, and Anne Hathaway to all appear in a Barbie sequel, especially Emma Stone as either any type of Barbie or Barbie’s best friend Midge, who falls in love with Ryan Gosling’s Ken and Cillian Murphy as a human version of Ken in the real-world, who’s Sasha’s teacher, and love interest of human version of Margot Robbie’s Barbie (who now goes by Barbara Handler; since she was named after the inventor of Barbie Ruth Handler’s daughter). I also hope the rest of the original cast comes back like America Ferrera, Ariana Greenblatt, Michael Cera, Scott Evans, Simu Liu, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Alexandra Shipp, Dua Lipa, John Cena, Helen Mirren (Narrator), and Will Ferrell. There is nothing good about this stupid movie. They will all look back on it and regret it. Ryan Gosling is way too talented to play such a terrible party in an awful movie!
