I LOVE Ilene Kristen & 'Delia' on "Ryan's Hope". It made my day to see her! As usual, you did a FANTASTIC job in interviewing them all!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!

I watched Ryan's Hope with my grandma as it was just before All My Children. Miss it! Thanks for organising this great reunion!

Helen gallagher gave an interview at a college about a year ago shes just as sharp as ever .she talks abit about ryans hope .its on you tube look it up shes still a pistol!

I miss Ryan's Hope. My High School let us go home for lunch every day so I got to see it every day.

I watch all the locher airings and as much as id like to be bias to another world with ryans hope a very close second i must say the ryans group comes across as an honest to goodness tight cast!! Ive watched thdm all this seems the most organically close show of them all!!

Ilene Kristen played Delia to such perfection that I couldn't imagine her being any other way in real life. She's a sweetie.

They're all wonderful. They should just reboot this show. All the actors are still nuanced, not a jaded one in the bunch...I mean, try naming a family in daytime and their essential members and colleagues and you don't miss one with the surname Ryan or Coleridge.

The cbc in canada was and is very particular about what they air and they aired ryans hope in the seventies. Almost every canadian knows ryans hope and another world!!

Thank you for putting this together - it was truly fantastic! Even all these years later, it's evident just how positively everyone felt about the show and working together. And I'm so glad Cali Timmins made an appearance as well! I'm biased since RH is my favorite soap, but I hope there will be more RH reunions to come. Thanks again, Alan!

I watched 6 years of ryans hope in 2 years thanks to soapnet and you tube!!! Loved the show !! Loved helen gallagher!!!wasnt crazy about the mob stuff and the egytion story tho around 1980 the show was veering from its roots and they were crazy to have fired sara feldman!! Loved delia and pat from day 1 ...but i understand later clare tried to turn it around...losing battle tho...agnes nixons clout sealed ryans fate..what hurts the most was that loving was a vapid bore!!! Until its very last murder story ..now that was good!! ...ryans got shafted!!

This was a great episode, one of the best. I’d love to see an “Edge Of Night” reunion. I’m sure Sharon Gabet would be happy to facilitate it. She’s kind of become the Edge gatekeeper over the years.

The apsoulote funniest scene EVER in daytime perhaps tv was when delia wanted to party on christmas or newyears eve but she had to babysit little john .heres little john looking at his mother and delia says something like..christmas isnt supposed to be like this...lol..illenes deliverey was so deadpan and hillarious!!!

I never knew the situation behind the scenes, that "LOVING" was supposed to be cancelled in the late 80s, not "Ryan's Hope"...and I had always thought it had more to do with when "LOVING" initially premiered, pushing "Ryan's" out of it's plum time slot causing the Labine/Mayer's sudser years of rating woes. Now, I am sad. Sad, because I appreciate a lot of what Agnes Nixon had to bring to daytime, but innovates like Labine and Mayer, not to forget Bill Bell, Douglas Marland, Sally Sussman... (and feel free to name more), they weren't writing the genre for their health! They each had a personal stake in the genre. It never should have been a monopoly. And to be honest and if I may "critical", aside from "The Edge of Night" (law and order), "The Doctors" and "General Hospital" (medical), "Dark Shadows" (sci-fi/thriller), "Ryan's Hope" (faith-based family drama), "Another Life" (the first "hope" opera), "Capitol" (politico), weren't the majority of shows really just the same set up? Small Town, USA, rich family, poor family? Not they I am trying to discount anything anyone ever did but I think the lack of variety could be a reason why people tuned out. I mean, aside from characters/actors, what premise are you seeing on "DAYS" that is different than "Y&R"?

Agnes Nixon had our beloved Ryan's Hope cancelled through network intervention because she was on a power trip about her status at ABC and wanted all the shows to be her own creations.

Lovings best ratings were only a bit better then ryans hopes worse!! ...abc blew it on that one!!

I'm a big RH fan. I think Ilene is correct about Agnes Nixon's maneuvering. She was a powerful lady with at least 2.5 hours every day on ABC daytime., Because I am a big fan of the theme to RH, I am continually listening to the theme on RU-vid. I know who the other actors are who are featured in the various photos, but the name of a certain blonde, often shirtless actor always appears with Ilene Kristen in the credits. Who is he? It's hard to believe he quit acting. Is it possible that we still see him regularly, but that he has changed a great deal?

i always believed the actors that left the show put the series in jeopardy. You can't blame everything on Agnes Nixon. She only does what the ratings dictate, and its sponsors.

Only one i remember here is Delia. I liked delia. Stopped watching pretty much after dan kelly and Kate M left. I was just a kid when i watched it. I do remember Pat as a character not sure who actor was. I grew up watching cbs soaps. Omg i just realized Jimmy was Linc Lafferty from As the World Turns.
