RZA AND I Talking about the flood he had that ruined INSPECTAH DECK's solo album 

I know… I was gonna say the same thing. I would love to see an alternate reality where the Inspectah Deck Spiderman album was completed & released in the 90’s and Beach Boys SMiLE was completed & released in the 60’s

I read somewhere that RZA lost over 500 beats and songs in those floods. That could been enough for every member of The WU to have had a full solo album fully produced by RZA before WU Tang Forever came out. Sucks to think what could of been because they were on fire at that point.

@steve O Wu at their peak from 93-96 were no.1 in hip hop imo. After wu tang forever it fell flat. With the amount of beats lost in the flood they could of made their legacy even stronger.

@BKGEE21: I dare to say his verse on Above the clouds was as great as anything Rakim, Nas, Biggy, or Hova spit. It was and still is poetry in motion. But never forget his verse on Cold War with GZA, C.R.E.A.M. with Rae, and his Magnus Opus, on Triumph. He iz Freebase and Pure fishscale on that mic device.

Nah, And I'm a huge Deck fan that was rooting for it to be a classic when it came out... It had a few bangers on it but overall I was disappointed ... But that was before I had any awareness of the whole flood situation and what they probably had to do to scramble up as much as they could to put out his album... Deck at that time was one of my favorite lyricist out of Wu, so I had super high expectations lol, especially after hearing the production on liquid swords, purple tape Ironman, etc

It takes time, effort, a lot of money and most importantly inspiration to make an album. It’s hard to capture that feeling again you already had
