I lived in the south because i went to college down there, AND i visited multiple southern states to visit family and to just travel...I also lived in NYC. YES, the south is slow in comparison to NYC. I dont know why this fact offends southerners. Yall are like 10 years behind NY fashion and way less cultured because in big cities, people are exposed to a greater diversity of stimuli. In nyc, the city is filled with different foods/music/style. Listen to how basic southern rap sounds. And i know that ny rappers COPY southern rap, but thats because it sells/makes money.
