S/C Lexus ISF vs '19 ZR1, '19 NSX, Viper, 10sec CTSV - 1/2 Mile Races 

I think the issue is it took 10 years for the aftermarket to even come out with a tune for the ISF platform so they really never did anything impressive over the years, dont think anyone broke into the 10s with them in the 1/4 until a few years ago with this new supercharger kit RR racing came out with

Wasn’t R&D it was the Bosch ecu’s that had high end encryption. Same for C8 corvettes. Just that Lexus are usually too pricy so not many shops were working on breaking the ECU. I recall many fake shops saying they did. Charging people an arm and a leg and giving them nothing. Glad to see with endurance and diligence it was successful. What a platform.

I mean, most Toyota/Lexus are slow. There’s only a few exceptions like the F cars, Supra, LC.

I’ve got a 23 IS500…same engine…now squeezing like 50 More HP out. Even so, stock, the car will only pull high 12s in the quarter. I don’t consider my car fast… but the ISF in the video is fast…laying down some great times. Clearly they cracked the code.

RR racing supercharger, i think about 720? somewhere in that area

I wanna say it's around 650 maybe 660whp currently. The most it's ever dynod was 706whp, but that was on 71mm SC Pulley which started slipping bad after couple pulls. It currently has a 75mm Pulley and makes around 10psi or so.

I know the 2019 ZR1 run 10s 1/4 mile stock but that Lexus is still moving.

1/4 mile IMO just show which car got to 1/4 mile quicker doesn't prove which car is fastest! It such old school measurement of speed. You can put right gears in car and it will kill on 1/4 mile run on highway and its pig. Big boys are running 1/2 and 1 mile events. That's going to show you which is faster not just quicker to 1/4. I believe his ISF ran Mojave Mile from standing start to 191.1mph he broke out of his class ran way to fast and was DQ. He beat Huracan, 488, 512, Tesla 100D etc. He is current the transmission are holding back ISF from putting down more power. RR Racing is currently working on upgrade for transmission. They started working with AMS Performance they make Alpha 9 performance parts for Alpha 9 GTR etc. So will see if they can figure it all out. If they can upgrade it that means more power can be made by motor which translate to more power the trans can and faster shifting tranny well see.

@@fwdGTP Nicely done👍,I found the biggest issues with ISF they tend to be traction limited when racing from dig. Our cars have no launch control combined with being under tired from factory as well as rear suspension components not helping cause.

Not everything can handle boost or that much power on a stock auto or block. So there's that. Still no valve float even at those higher boost pressures. I'm even impressed. The ISF is a great car.

650-700 bhp on a car that light, not too surprising. The ISF is legendary for being a really fast vehicle, even without modding. The sky's the limit once you start upgrading. It's not Supra levels of crazy, but what we're seeing in the video is certainly possible.
