if people don't understand, Jade's dead dreamself got prototyped into Jadesprite, so Jade doesn't have a dreamself. this means she will only dream in the Furthest Ring, and in the furthest ring the only thing is Horrorterrors. they glub bubbles that if you're lucky you can dream in, and this is one of them.

i love how the horrorterrors are coming at you so fast, the video can't even process it.

I think this is the most disturbing Homestuck [S] ever. Homestuck is just like one big acid trip, I swear.

this flash will never not make me sad, feferi genuinely just wanted to try and help jade and talk to her, it just ended up not working as planned :(

Oh my god when this ended I got the message that says "An error occurred. Please try again later." Looks like I won't be sleeping for a while.

I think this flash is the perfect example for what it's like to be high on all the drugs. Not just one kind or another, all of them

The first time I watched this, it was in the middle of the night and I was home alone. Don't watch this in the middle of the night when you are home alone.

Even though some massive shit has gone down in the story since this flash, I still think it's the scariest, nerve-wracking update ever. A happy go lucky kid that suffers from sporadic narcolepsy is subjected to an endless realm of impossible, mind-breaking, unspeakable horrors that fill one's vision with endless teeth and eyes... Every time she falls asleep. Every time. Gog damn. I think Jade had every right to get grumpy after this.

*watches this in the middle of the night with all of the lights off and the whole house is quiet* *turns off my phone and cries silently, hoping daylight with come soon*

The scariest and squiddelyest part of Homestuck

This is like being on shrooms. It starts out all trippy and colorful and shit, but then it just gets fucked up and disturbing.

That ending is exactly how I picture deep space and the horrorterrors. Dark ambience and droning and mumbles. Reminds me of those nightmares you get where things are downright disturbing. Not scary. Disturbing, right down to your core. Quiet and lonely and this feeling of fear mixed with horror or shock or confusion building up in your chest. Had a dream where I was dying, a woman came from behind me and started picking me up skyward, felt a feeling of peace so deep that it scared me and I tried screaming on the top of my lungs. Couldn't move my limbs though it felt like I was moving dream arms. Was sleep paralysis but god it's on a whole new level of fear. Another person told me he felt like he was being dragged somewhere. One person told me that they felt like their dream limbs could detach from their bodies, have it hanging below them while they're lying on their backs. Told me he got curious and tried to detach his whole body and ended up "falling through infinity", something he said was so horrifying because it felt so wrong and hellish like before he was pushed back up. Dreams can be scary as shit.

At first I was kind of sad seeing Jade so happy and dancing, because I thought it meant she was dead, like "in a better place". Then shit just got weird and scary and I didn't know what to think.

The background, not-so high and sqeaky voice in the first part is strangely soothing. Creepy, in and out of context, but still soothing in its own way.

an atrocious offense to the senses of sight and sound

I have to say that this specific Flash wasn't just "scary" for me. It hit really close to home, because it reminded me of the Powerpuff Girls episode "Speed Demon", where the PPGs fly so quickly they reach the speed of light and bend time itself, going through a creepy tunel that looks A LOT like this one, there's also a screeching sound that sounds similar to the one you hear near the end of the Flash. The rest of the episode is relatively "dark and edgy" as well, compared to the rest of the series. Needless to say, that episode scared me shitless when I was little, so much that when I saw it was about to start I quickly changed the channel and my heart started racing for a few seconds.

Usually I end up having my brain broken from trying to keep track of all the time crap going on but this part totally broke my soul and sanity. It's not often that something freaks me out so badly and Homestuck succeeded at doing that. Now I end up crying whenever I hear the Squiddles opening or ending. ;0;
