I think I’ll do a video on medical terminology soon. It’s really just a matter of practice and learning how to break apart a word. The prefix, root word (usually comes from Latin or Greek) and the suffix. Root word is the main subject your talking about. Then you add a prefix or suffix to describe what is going on with that body part. I do suggest you download some of the forms so you can start practicing. The more you write them the more you practice & they will stick. Thanks for the idea! Create a great day

It is a lot of information. It’s an intense program for 9 months for the weekend class. 6 months for the day class. It takes a lot of discipline to get through the course! Time management, healthy habits & passion for learning. Thus the reason I get frustrated with students that make it through the whole class & they’re too afraid to take the MBLEX test & if they fail it once they quit 😣. It’s like you went through the whole program already!!! Don’t quit now. It is so much info. Yet you never stop learning. Most massage therapist feel they didn’t learn enough when they graduate yet they know 10 times more than when they came in. It takes a lot of practice, practice practice to learn all the muscles origins & insertions. You continue to review & practice some more after you graduate. And to tell you the truth you don’t need to know them all! It’s really your intent that makes the difference in a good massage! If you decide to specialize in sports or injuries then you can learn different modalities. It’s like we give you the tool box with basic tools 🧰 ⚒️ and you continue throughout your lifetime to put more tools in your bag. It’s very doable if you like what you do. And I have loved my career!
