I have a quick question, is it gunslinger even worth it? I've seen plenty of comments on the ModDB page saying the mod even has a trojan virus in it, i dont wanna risk my new pc so im asking here
Gunslinger uses a .dll injector in order to work. Those comments are bullshit, don't listen to them. Overall, the mod is great, and the attention to detail is INSANE!!!
Fun fact. I've encouraged my friend Navaro, the sound designer working on the gun sounds of S.T.A.L.K.E.R Gunslinger into asking STRIFER, the mod author, if he could join the development team. You're all welcome.
@@alexeremin8303 Please allow me to clarify. Sorry if that was confusing. English isn't my first language. Navaro and I meat over 10 years ago on gamebanana. I sort of mentored him and helped him to get started in weapon sound design. On day we where sharing videos of animators we liked. That was 7 to 8 years ago. A lot of names came up. Ha_ru, hyper, JustSlaYeR, MrBrightside and a bunch of others. STRIFER too, of course. Navaro is a massive stalker fan and told me that he would love to work on a project like the Gunslinger mod by STRIFER. I told him that he should simply ask STRIFER, if he could help him with sound design. Navaro reacted a bit shy, so I've encouraged him a bit. Told him that the worst thing that could happen, is that STRIFER would say no and that's that, or they start working togather and things don't work out, which would be fine too, because than he would have gotten some practice in. In the end things worked out and I guess that helped Navaro get started professionally. Last thing I know he worked on was all the gun sounds for Ready or Not. ... Hope that clears things up.
