Blimey ! 9 degrees in a summer jacket…. Been there, done that, and not pleasant especially with the miles you lads are doing, however, those mountain roads with the snow tunnels looked awesome.. keep biking Dude…
I have been caught out weather wise, i didn't really bring enough warm clothes lol I was trying to keep it minimal, i won't fall for that next time. but it's hard to carry clothes for everything on a bike.
Yippee sunshine! About time. Just one for you, have you noticed that a tunnel of any length has a curve in it? This is one to bore people with! The reason is physiological, if drivers/bikers can see the 'light' at the end of the tunnel they subconsciously speed up, hence the curve so you can't see the end and, therefore keep to the speed limit 🤔. Good eh? Lol. 😃🏍.
When we set off that morning from Camping Grüntensee part of the route on our Sat Nav was set for Ruggel in Liechtenstein and to cross the Rhine into Switzerland before heading North to the Bodensee Lake. We did have a discussion at Parkplatz Hörnlibuck to say we didn't see the border for Liechtenstein, but because we missed so many others dismissed it. If we did miss it we must have been close as we saw lots of cars with Liechtenstein registrations.
