For those who don't know, the Chief Engineer of this car was Ing. Nicola Materazzi who also engineered the '288' GTO and was Technical Director at Bugatti while bringing to production the EB110. This explains a lot of the why the car is so visceral, light, fast and minimalistic. Beautiful colour and spectacular car. The best! Just ordered a 1:18 scale model of exactly this one. Can't wait to open it up. Everyone's fine with 250 GTO's being painted in all the colours of the rainbow, but not on a modern Ferrari. It just may become an extra special classic over time.

@@paulthomson9014 What is wrong with you? Get a clue. It was a salvage car with a bent frame that they brought back to life and put real turbos better intercooler and better brakes from what recall. Probably making 550 to 600 hp at the wheel.

It's called opinion ..while.mechanically I appreciate the work they did and I like the fact it was black with the black wheels which I also like to then go and put those disgusting led lights on front with those vents behind them . Should've either gone for full lm look or standard look with pop ups and normal driving lights , turn signals in front .

When you buy one, keep it the factory color then… The F40 is one of my favorite cars, and something I sadly will never own. But, have spent some time in and around two of them over the years. The factory paint job isn’t good. Granted, it’s meant to be like that but it has a very kit car like quality to the paint job.
