Well said. That's the thing that most people misunderstand. Gig work is an entirely different way to approach earning money. So gig workers cannot have the expectancy for the benefits to be the same as in a traditional job without the dictatorship of being in a workplace.

@@grabadventures my point was if permanent jobs also adopt a no employee benefit system. Some gig platforms in sg can set requirements that workers have to do how many to get "incentives" so whatever trip given they do not dare to cancel more than 3. So this way, workers have to work like employees without employee benefits. This is a brilliant model. People will just say Bo Bian and accept. Lan Lan

@LonganLee there are 3 types social media posts on earnings. One is without context. The other is for boastful purposes and it can be misrepresented. The third is a fairly well balanced approach which shows how hard a rider has to work to rcv consistent earnings. Finally there is people like myself who actually don't earn that much.

@@grabadventures no worries bro. By boasting, I was referring to the many on the roads and those that boasted in the news. Your channel is good honest and not boastful 👍 Whether these are actors or being used to attract more to ride for delivery Co's is God knows. Their earnings are not as high as reported in terms of missing components like 13th month bonus, paid leave like MC, paternal leave, maternal leave, AWS, employer cpf contributions, insurance are also sometimes paid by employers. Delivery people are on their own. Add these up plus costs of maintenance and spare batteries, its not as glorious as they boasted. By boasting it could be real, it could be just one time spike in fares collected or it could mean average over many months. Many are boasting to comfort themselves as its a rather low class work as they have to work under hot sun , in the rain and give people an image of lower rung income earners. Surely some will look down on them. Some even shun them and want contact less delivery or avoid taking the lift with them. The SIDE EFFECT or Backlash these minority Boasting community has created is Too Many Riders are joining and many have a full time job but due to rising cost and high COE to pay , higher gst and electrical and water bills , they are constantly under pressure to do this part time especially during weekends. This is why some grab riders are having to wait for orders nowadays compared to the past. Also could be the post covid where more are not ordering as much and school holidays

Food delivery model of business is the best for business owners because they make use of : 1. Vehicles fully owned and paid and maintained by people whom they have no employer-employee obligations. 2. No need pay for their Leave and 13mth and AWS. 3. No need provide then office space and building to work in. 4. No need spend on Dinner and Dance. 5. The riders risk their lives just to earn a few bucks. If this is not the best business model, what is? You mean, a business model that has to pay for all the above? Imagine all other businesses operate the same model and no need spend on employee benefits. If can work on food riders, then possible to work on many other businesses.😅

I am using a total of 3. A chest mount akaso v50x. A rear mount with insta360 and a third which i shift around on various parts of the ebike which is another akaso v50x

Light to moderate rain is fine. But heavy storms such as the one in this video will definitely get wet.

You will need to have a thermal bag. It is to keep the food hot or cold. It need not necessarily be foodpanda. You can check out MFC bags if you are looking at a brandless bag which is not so obvious.

No cover on x16’s battery during heavy rain will not have any damage on battery? Just bought x16 and intending to cover the top with plastic during rain

Thx for the compliment ❤️ ! There is a slanted drainage hole at the bottom bracket. After riding in the rain I will tilt the ebike to the back and let any excess water drain out. But usually due to the slanted design there is very minimum water pooling in it. By the way the ebike I am riding in this video is X16. My kol max i sold it to SGeats.
