Is Pyotr Kochetko a dirty goalie? Is this 1985 with all these diving poke checks? I absolutely love this guy. Poke checks are an amazing that must be in every goalie’s toolbox. Many goalie coaches can’t or won’t teach them because they were never taught them properly. If your goalie coach doesn’t believe in poke checks, ask them why. Kochetkov has directly won several games in the NHL with his amazing diving poke checks. If it is a skill good enough to be used my Marc-Andre Fleury and this guy in the NHL I think you know it is valuable.
