2005 9-3, little green light inside which comes on with AC not coming on and neither is the AC. Climate is set to cold and outside temp display reads properly. Heater/ AC cabin fan working fine. Any ideas ? Thanks
Just subed, my 9-5 the acc and fans inside just turn off while driveing what could this be pleasee and also the fans cone on full blast when I start her up ? Please any help would be greatly appreciated
My Saab does that exact same thing years ago when I was having the same problem I replaced it with an aftermarket blower motor resistor. I haven’t really got into why mine does not work properly because I can turn the fans back on and they will stay on. So I think in your instance it may be helpful to replace the blower motor resistor. I hate to tell you to throw parts at something but that would be the first thing that I would try
You actually need a Schrader valve replacement tool you can change the Schrader valve without losing the refrigerant it seals it off. ( R134a R12 Valve Core Remover Installer Replace High Low Side Schrader Valve Tool ) Google that phrase in it’ll take you right to the tool it’s very cheap and inexpensive When you were pointing at the lines between high side and low side you must of gotten confused why you were making a video and you said the high side was the large line in the low side vapor was the small line. I make that mistake to when I making videos I don’t edit . whatever happened to the procedure of recovering out all the refrigerant throwing it on a deep vacuum pump and then only adding refrigerant in by weight no guessing
Everytime I turned off my ac I hear a clicking, then it stops after 5 seconds, also I’m getting hot air, is this the expansion valve or the compressor???
That sound is your re-circulation motor, it operates a door to either let outside are in or re-circulate cabin air. The plastic gear breaks and that is the sound it makes.
Put it under vaccume shake you lines ones will drop vacuume. Theres your leak replace o rings note : u may find more leals withbshake dowm. Must be done begore filling. With vacuum pump running. Must hold vacuume for a min of 30 min with valves shut and pump off before filling.
If you do this step first. You'll find a leak before wasting freon. Pag oil must be measured., on both temoved compressor and new compressor . Starbuckd frapaccino bottle works great for .and new compress must be turned by hand before instaltion in order to drain shipping oil. Add adlldata spec amount or amount measured on bith initially removed compressor and on new compressor pachedvwith shipping oil. shipping oil. if leak is foun there. Removed compressor may have skightly less amount due to still in the ac lined.
