Saab 93 Resurrection | Car Detailing | First Decon | Ft. Labocosmetica Primus/Cupido, Polish & LSP

Sound lads, welcome back to this month's video. It's been a while I know but here it is, my new daily, a 2009 Saab 93 Aero 2.0t. This was essentially its first proper wash, decon, polish and protect. In typical detail base fashion I ran out of time so didn't get to polish the whole car but everywhere did get a coating of Cupido as the silver colour hides the horrendous paint. At the time of writing I've had the car for about 4 months and really enjoy it but unfortunately it was out of commission for 2 weeks on account of a broken master cylinder in the gearbox :(

Thanks Craig. Yeah I think it's nice to just have the occasional "detailing" video rather than me talking over stuff but the next one will most definitely be a review style video like the one prior to this one.

Thanks mate, really enjoyed filming this one. Next video will be a black Friday haul test video so will definitely be back on the voice over then. Been nearly 2 months since I filmed that so need to do a maintenance wash and top up with their sio2 detailer.

That is a nice looking car, looks like someone had invested a lot of time and money into that. Why more people aren't into estate cars, as opposed to SUV's 🤷‍♂️

Yeah I really like the look of it. It's had a fair bit of money spent on it by the previous owner but still needs some work doing to it which I'm starting to pick up now. Could do with tidying up some of the rust bubbles too at some point. Estate cars definitely my favourite body type 👍🏻 Thanks for the comment Lee 👍🏻

Great job my man 👍 How did you find the Cupido to work with? I just got the Venere polish and Cupido today, goina try apply Venere spray a bit of Cupido and remove them both. Any difficulty in removal?

Thanks Kevin 👍🏻 cupido was really easy to work with if you follow the instructions on the back. I definitely recommend using an applicator block like I did rather than I microfiber cloth. Removal was fine also so long as you change cloths semi often. Let me know how you get on 👌

Just make sure as well you work in small sections at a time, half a door at a time for example or like a quarter of the bonnet

Better to pull the plastic wheel arches out and see how much crud is causing that arch to rust.. then spend to money on rust repairs than detailing and products?

Yeah mate 100%. This car already had rust in those places when I bought it so was nothing I could do. But yeah really important thing is to make sure all the shit that sits between the fender and the liner is cleared out regularly.
