I like the Psalms . These poems share the human experience and struggle to come to terms with understanding the God of Love. Some prayers show God in a very negative and cruel nature. Thanks for putting it in context.

Amen. A touching and wonderful testimony of experience. Losing a child during childbirth can be heartwrentching. But God is there, always there as we need Him. Can a woman forget her suckling child? Some may forget but I won't forget says the Lord. Thanks for the testimony.

Can use prayers. After so many years of churches determined logic that it is not feelings, heart grew so cold; left it. No feelings allowed in churches. So now it’s hard to feel anything.
How does The Law, and especially the Sabbath commandment which were specifically given to the Israelites pertain to any other nation on earth? Did any of you ever live in Egypt at the time of the Pharo's?
Greetings in Jesus' Worthy Name! When God created humankind. HE WROTE His great MORAL LAW (Ten Commandments Law) in each one's heart. That is why even those who have never heard of Jesus have some sense of right and wrong. (See Romans 2:14,15) At the same Creation time He made the Sabbath. Genesis 2:1-3. And God BLESSED the Seventh day. and SANCTIFIED it: because that in it he had RESTED from all His work which God created and made. So this is the Sabbath story in the Eden Garden with only two humans and God. Each week thereafter Adam and Eve and their descendents kept Sabbath with God. Many generations after they were taken into Egyptian bandage and FORCED often to break the Sabbath BY THEIR HEATHEN OPPRESSORS. After they were delivered from Egyptian captivity and before they arrived at Mt. Sinai, they were reminded of the Sabbath Commandment by the giving of manna from heaven. See Exodus 16:3-6 read it carefully. They were to gather manna every day so much. On the sixth day, the day before the Sabbath, they were to gather twice as much and prepare it for the next day, the seventh, the Sabbath. Note that if they gathered more on any other day it stank, spoiled. On Friday if they gathered enough for the Sabbath it did not spoil. God taught them that He will preserve us when we keep His Sabbath. Then they arrive at Mt. Sinai sanctified and prepared to hear the Ten Commandments spoken by the mouth of God. They are recorded in Exodus 20:1-17 Read them carefully. These were the laws given to rule the WHOLE world. In the center of the 10 were the Sabbath Commandment written in verses 8-11. Read it very slowly, carefully while contemplating deeply. Verse 11 tells us why He wants us to REMEMBER it: For or because in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea and all that in them is, and RESTED the seventh day: wherefore the Lord BLESSED the Sabbath day and HALLOWED it (or made it holy.) Compare this verse with Genesis 2:1-3 So that's why the Sabbath matters to Jesus. It's His day made for fellowship with Him and each of us in a special way. He is Lord of the Sabbath. See Mark 2:23-28; Luke 6:1-5 and Matthew 12:1-8 Do you get it?
When God Greated the heaven and the earth,there were no Isrealites!!! He created Adam by the 6th day before the sabbath.than God blessed the Sabbath, sanctified it and set it aside God's day of rest for all to keep it holy.and rest from their labours,sabbath will olso be kept in Heaven God did not come to destroy but t fullfill so how Will God destroy the ten commandments when he himself rested on the sabbath? sabbath is holy.we must start looking towards heaven.our lord Jesus coma.
Where do you read that Adam and Eve kept the Sabbath? Surely God should have told them to keep it at the same time He told them not to eat from that one tree?
Which God? God the Father, God the Son or God the Holy Spirit? God the Son spoke these words and He was a different priest than the Judaic priests at the time of The Law. Also, a change in priesthood necessitates a change in The Law. Or should I ask your invented levite-jesus-god in prayer? @@acholmaryalith4897
