people act like it's so not surprising for Saber to say he's a furry but forget how much stigma there is around it. People automatically think ur a weirdo or degenerate of some kind. I love Saber sm, this was the event of all time

The fact that Saber is very interested in anthro characters is awesome. It gives me hope that my novel that isn’t furry but stars anthro characters will some day be read in the mainstream after working on it for 6 years.

As someone who’s known about Saberspark for a good while now, I’m glad he finally came out of the closet about his furry side .

I don't know how I'm just now learning that Saberspark was an old school YTPer. I knew from the beginning that he was aware of YTP since the first video of his I saw was one about weird internet communities (I thought it was crazy seeing a normal RU-vidr mention YTP by name back then haha), and I later learned that he was a long time fan by finding old comments from him on early captpan6 YTPs, but still this is news to me that he actually used to make 'em himself.

Hey those of us who are real fans don't care what or who you are Saber as long as you're happy and being true to yourself despite the stigma which honestly shouldn't be a thing. We all knew that you were a Furry just the knowledge of anthro characters and vibes. Glad to see you coming into your own and not hiding who you are. Funny to hear Saberspark not using his radio voice.

Hearing Mark talk about how he's already growing passed the need for community and barely using discord is eerie to me because it feels lik we both went through the same phase around the same time I always find it odd because I found marks channel when I was younger and was so used To you tubers being adults that I just assumed every was way older than me, only to find out we're about the same age (I think) So I gotta constantly remind myself to curb my perception of him being older or younger than me Creators like him are part of what's inspire me to start my own content creator journey one day, so it's odd hearing him talk like a seasoned veteran when it feels like I just discovered him yesterday, only to realize 10th/11th grade was almost 6+ years ago for me. So it feels hella odd to hear I may have also just already skipped passed what's supposed to be a apparent developmental period for creators before I even started 💀

on the subject of what is or is not a furry, coming FROM a furry: you're a furry if you say you are. you aren't a furry if you say you aren't. literally almost every fur I know is just like "if you consider yourself one, you are. if you don't, you aren't. it's how you choose to define yourself in the end" now what IS more hotly debated is what SPECIFICALLY counts as anthro. does it only mean the bipedal human-ish shaped ones like Nick Widle? or does it LITERALLY mean the definition of 'a non human/sentient thing given human traits' so for example, the wind in pocohontas is anthro. the ocean in Moana is anthro. I'm personally in the camp of...it depends on what you're trying to describe or get people to picture. are you talking to another fur and want them to understand that you mean a quadroped? usually quadropedal or feral are interchangable terms. talking to a non furry? anthro is almost always the safer bet.
