I have a Sachs Performance clutch installed in my VW Scirocco R from 2012. I try to explain, a few things that are important to be aware of, when you run in you new Sachs Performance clutch.

Is it an "organic friction plate" or a " sintered friction plate" you have in your car?

I didn’t even know the Scirocco R was a thing, would’ve definitely gotten one of those over a GTI if they were available in the US

I have a sachs performance clutch fitted and I have experienced from day one clutch judder ?? I have the same engine as the VW R I have a TT.......so should I experience clutch judder? or not

Depends on the clutch you chose. I'd be expecting it to judder if you chose a sintered clutch as they are more designed for track purposes and not daily driving. You can still get organic plate clutches. Which is what I just ordered. It's designed for daily driving but also has a rating of 408ft/lbs

@@dumbeezy5480 I don't have the car anymore but there's a noticeable difference of the clutch pedal stiffness due to the uprated pressure plate. Apart from that it doesn't bite sharply or anything. Easily used for daily driving

I need my dmf replacing should I go for the Sachs carbon clutch?

I was very happy with mine. But it is quite a bit heavier than the standard clutch. :-)

The Sachs Performance clutch should be able to withhold a power of 550nm and above. :D
