There's no excuse anymore. This is his squad. They should be playing for him and they're not. I have another question for Mark, why does he blindly back Ten Hag but had a problem when pundits blindly backed Ole? To blame the refs for not understanding fotball and game management because of the examples you brought up with Rice, Trent kicking the ball away after a whistle is lame. To lay all the blame at the feet of Ten Hag is amazing. At some point the players should be playing for the badge or themselves. No effort from the players. There shouldn't be the major ups and downs from week to week if the same players are on the pitch. These performances have been going on for the last 5 managers. United need a ground up rebuild, so if the genuine question is what’s next… Then the answer can’t just be a new manager. You have almost a completely new front office running the football operations. They can have their pick coach to institute the football philosophy they want as a team, but you also need to carve out the deadweight and rebuild the wage structure and the talent and competition across-the-board. You are what you do, and right now players like Rashford are very average performances that cost a ton of money, and they are comfortable with that not changing. So all the other changes are great, but those changes with the team and with the structure and the competition in the squad need to change as well

With the red I think there are two instances. Bruno slipped. After slipping he attempted to tackle the player with no intention of getting the ball. The intent is what the red is for in my opinion. as a newcastle fan that also watches man utd almost every week (watch 2-4 matches per week), I can say it's absolutely on the manager. my club have had a string of sht managers over the years and it's the same thing going on at man utd. man management, instilling the right culture and recruiting players that fit in terms of mentality and personality is crucial. Sad to say, but time is up. I predicted in August, that unless things improve drastically, ETH will be gone by the second International break. We are no longer regularly competing against those who were once our equals. We're simply not there, and soon our finances will reflect this. This is a club spiralling into oblivion. From a business perspective, can we think of any other organisation who leaks money without results, but stays afloat?

The first thing Man Utd need to do is accept they are on the level of a mid table team, drop the entitlement of expecting to be vying for the title and CL every year and stop living on past glories. Your club cannot expect a quick fix and need to change things from top to bottom, which could take years. Your transfers are awful and the club seem to buy players just because they're playing well for their club with no thought if they actually suit the team. Stop overspending on players and giving them stupid salaries and get rid of any problem players. Your players are lazy and not good enough, they're not vetted to see if their character is correct and your keeper is one of the most useless in the league. You have no system, the coaching is woeful and the management is non existent. The owners may not be the best but they do fund player transfers.
