The dismissal of nearly an entire cabinet in Kenya has seen cabinet secretaries record the shortest stint in government in the country’s history. The cabinet, picked by the president after his victory in the 2022 general election has had a chequered history that started right from their appointment and ran through the short stint, characterized by allegations of graft and incompetence.

The problem is not the incompetent one, it is the purportedly competent appointing authority. As competent as Ruto is supposed to be, how does he opt to work with jumwa at the level of cabinet secretary? He is such a conman. He does not value competence and that is why he has destroyed the education sector. Ruto must go.

No one really wants Ruto to fail. If he fails, Kenya fails. The thing is arrogance and corruption amongst his aides.
