No Control RC says goodbye to one of our favorite trucks to drive as it is discontinued by ARRMA Want one Before they are gone Shop Here www.avantlink....
I suspect a V4 is upcoming for the 3s line, but who knows. The Granite was shown as discontinued in the UK (for a while), and has been on various sales the last couple of months. The 3s V3’s have been around now for a good 4-5 years….
@@boduke9428 Not here in the UK it didnt, they increased the price by $50 when they fitted the center diff version. I know in the States the price did reduce.
The 4s Mojave was the first 4s with the center diff released with the Kraton and Outcast shortly after. It'd make sense to start the 3s line with the Senton. Honestly tho for the regular Senton price I'd spend a few bucks more and get the Mojave 4s. Unless that means buying all new batteries and everything it just might be the best $160 you could spend. The Mojave is a really great truck. The 6s right now for $529 is a steal.
Shocks are pretty awful and so is the slipper, and when pushed the diffs aren't great either. The lineup is definitely due an update but does that not just make it the same as the current 4s lineup, they will need to be a good deal cheaper which I can't see that happening
I think they'll redesign or release a new on road rig next. They've not given street bashers anything new in a long time. Especially since they took the Vendetta away.
Horizonhobby.com, who owns arrma, says out of stock not available, which usually means bad things. Hopefully, it comes back refreshed because I really enjoy the truck.
From what I’ve seen they discontinued the V3T1 and then in its place put in V3BT1. Not sure what the difference is but I’m gonna guess the diffs are upgraded
I saw the “B” in the model number show up when the Vendetta was discontinued. I don’t know for sure, but I think the “B” is a regional code and not indicative of a version change.
@@JT-6s weird they would show the 2, and under the “just arrived” the BT model shows being released march 25th of this year. Not sure about it being regional.
@@TheBiteSize All I can say is that the Vendetta had the same BT in the model # towards the end of its stock last year. In fact during August of last year, Amain listed the Vendetta BT “version” as a pre-order for several weeks, so I thought as you do that maybe it was a new version. Heard from somewhere that the B was just a regional stocking number (ie. not US stock) that Horizon was likely pulling from to clear out rest of the models. I doubt the Granite or Senton will be discontinued, rather just updated eventually, and when they are they’ll be designated as v4.
I;m hoping that the teaser video that horizon dropped today is about new spektrum systems coming out. that could be the cause of the 3s line pretty much being all backordered
@@nocontrolrc8290 thank you for your reply. I really want one. I found this model looking for a RC-car with some room to grow that I can fix because my son has now broken 5 rc-cars this year that lack spare parts and it’s pissing me off a bit haha. I’m looking for a solution to buy one that is a robust and upgradable machine with lots of parts so I can fix it and adjust it’s speed.
It's better to buy Traxxas then horizon hobby because they discontinue stuff ... But like Toyota Traxxas we'll always upgrade and keep the product so you can trust Traxxas... But my first RC car wash from horizon hobby... But I'm not going to buy a any of their stuff because they discontinue that's very shamed....
You can get off your high horse, because Traxxas discontinues plenty of stuff. Just recently they discontinued the Erevo, Summit, and Hoss. And like Traxxas Horizon supports discontinued vehicles.
