I healed my thyroid autoimmune disease on my own without medications just by taking control of my mind, my foods I ate, my stress levels, breathing, etc. This is the best medical advice I have ever heard. First, I removed myself from being around negative people and situations. Next, I took time to relax, eat organic, get sunlight and grounding, and watched my body change. It takes 7 years for cells to completely regenerate. But for me my disease was healed in half the time- 4 YEARS! ANYONE CAN DO IT!!!
I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism during COVID, I wasn't able to eat food which also affected my taste. Using Dr iyaremoses on RU-vid herbal medicine helped get rid of lichens planus..
Doctors told me I had hypothyroidism about 4 years ago. I was given synthetic thyroid, other medications and told I had to take them for the rest of my life. But I rebuked it, prayed to Jesus to heal me, accepted the healing and stopped taking all the meds. To this day the blood work comes back good with no issues. Jesus heals those who can ask and receive healing. I'm not sure the exact cause, but I know the cure. God bless!
T Lewis my DOCTOR told me EXCATLY the same thing. I would have to take the meds for the rest of my life. So day I started researching the web. For a cure. I too decided to ask God for healing through JESUS CHRIST and the HOLY SPIRIT. Thank you for your Testament.
that's exactly what this Yogi was saying, your thyroid is controlled in major part by your thinking. you think good things about Jesus. we are all the same. Jesus was only one healer, only one of many. a prophet but also one of many. whatever floats your boat. you relax and trust your prophet. that counts for a lot of healings.
Really is true. I saw this before taking thyroxin. My doctor was so concerned I finally agreed to try it. I was told my thyroid had shrunk and that I would have to take thyroxin for life. Still believing this talk from Sadguru. I stopped taking it one year later, (swapped it for ashwaganda and yoga) and hey presto, thyroid back to normal. So grateful to Sadguru.
Omg that’s amazing I have hyperthyroidism & Hashimotos. They said I would be on medication for the rest of my life but I don’t want that. Currently take ashwaganda too. It gives me hope
Dr. Robert Durrant was an endocrinologist at Guy's hospital and he's written a book called " Your Thyroid" in the book he said that there are two types of thyroids one is environmental and the other is Hereditary. The environment is what the Guru is talking about, but the Hereditary one is something that is carried on from one generation to the other. I have had thyroid for 20 years, as soon as I divorced my ex my thyroid medication went from 300 mg to 125! and that's because the stress levels were gone!
Yes I believe stress and getting upset by someone can inflame the thyroid. It will cause hot prana to rise to the throat. I believe my thyroid issue is inherited.

“My grandmother...” one of my fondest memories is of my grandmother brushing off the dirt on a carrot, from our gardens, and taking a bite. She died at 94 with all her teeth and never having had any disease, only natural/occasional sickness, but nothing systemic. Her’s was the last generation that had fresh, untainted food available. We need to do something about our home we call Earth. We are suppose to be looking after it but instead are stripping it with our greed. And she is falling apart. I am from the US. OI, what a mess. It is good to hear I am not the only one that hears the ‘buzz’. Growing up in the countryside I know what quiet is, I know what ‘dark’ means. Now, I constantly hear something running, if not the highway 5 houses away, it is the entertainment systems, or the constant lights that are always on. It is never truly dark here. I have such trouble sleeping. We plan to move to the country.. I miss the natural language of the earth.
My mother passed away three weeks ago at the grand young age of 107 years and 7 moths. And like your grandmother, she didn’t have any diseases only occasional seasonal sickness…

I drink, i smoke, i work 14 hours a day, but i live in the mountain of Switzerland (originally from Iceland) , my job is my passion so it is always a pleasure to wake up and go to work, i work with animals all day (I'm a vet and ethologist), before, during and after work i am in the mountain. No air conditioning, just central heating in winter, and an open window in summer. When i do not work i spend my day in nature, or at home reading, restoring old art, doing the local antique shops, doing physical activities (swimming, yoga, martial arts) or just spending time at the shelters with the animals. I eat properly (100% vegan) , i never stress myself over anything, i an't even remember the last time i was upset about anything or toward anyone. Nature is my religion and temple, Fauna and Flora are the only gods i believe in. I used to live in Tokyo for a few years, i was making a very fine living, but i could literally feel the life force leaving me. I couldn't believe that people would deliberately choose to live this way, let alone understand why they would do such a thing. Leaving Japan was the smartest thing i ever did in my life because if i hadn't i think i would be dead today, after being completely drained of life force. This remarkable gentleman here is giving the best advice anyone can ever be given. Get close to nature, get rid of everything artificial and unnatural, don't take life seriously, and take care of yourself, not your career or bank account, but yourself . You are only what you were born as, and this is how you'll leave this world. None of your achievements or assets will follow you in the after life or the next one. So why being obsessed with achieving and owning ? It makes no sense at all. Just try to be happy without trying to buy happiness, because true happiness is not for sale and no money in the world can buy it. Just try to be happy, try not to be a major asshole to others and yourself, live and let live and quit eating animals, taking another creature's life is NEVER going to improve yours. Don't eat them, don't wear them and don't use them for your little pleasure. I wish you all the very best, and to do everything in your power to deserve it, through compassion to other living creatures and yourself , and self respect as well as respect toward any form of life. Trust me, true happiness is as simple as this.

I grew up in an abusive family system as a child. By puberty, my thyroid was out of whack. I feel thyroid is intricately connected to issues of self-worth, and improper communication, and chronic stress. Thank you for this video, Sadhguru! Update: While some people claim they had success with yoga, ayurvedic or alternative medicines for hypothyroidism, I have not had much success with yoga or Ayurveda for hypothyroidism so far. I guess everybody is different. In fact, many ayurvedic practitioners don't even address hypothyroidism. They say, take the medicines prescribed by your allopathic doctor! However, I still continue to do yoga, because that will help boost overall health. At some point, there may be a breakthrough (I hope)! For people commenting below that they are considering ending it, please see a doctor and take medication! Much of the symptoms of hypothyroidism can be managed with the meds, and the meds are safe. Finally, never give up!!! Eat healthy, go for walks, be happy! :)
Your story mirrors mine. I had an unhappy childhood and unpleasant time at school. I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism as a young girl. I still eat medication years later. Is your thyroid in balance now, Ar Kb?
@@arkb6444 Kindred spirit:) Traditional Chinese Medicine also says over ambitious tendencies + emotional damage leads to Hashimoto's. Do you think this reaffirms what you said earlier about your own case?
@@loudpurrMostly I feel esp with hypothyroidism, it has something to do with repression of self expression, people who have been forced to "keep quiet", or "keep it quiet" in a high stress or abusive environment, maybe due to fear, or other reasons including lack of confidence. People who dont allow their energy to flow. People who have harsh speech patterns also perhaps as a result of trying to protect themselves or people they love. Overly self critical people also may invite auto immune disorders like hashimotos, where the body attacks itself, I feel. We need to love ourselves first, no matter what :)

Thyroid problems are basically due to emotional stress and pain that you go through in life. If you have undergone a trauma or excessive stress due to some reason or other, that can affect your thyroid and your nerves and whole body subsequently. I am still trying to overcome my thyroid problems. This problem happened to me 3 years ago after a nasty fall i had. Before that i had no health problems. Such wisdom... I have thyroid problems and it slowed down all internal functions - now I have chronic liver and other problems it took 2 years of my doctor not addressing the root cause for me to reach this level of disease and disfunction 1st restless leg syndrome, then balance problems, then muscular weakness, now liver growths and possible cancer, depression, and more -- all due to stress and untreated heredity thyroid problems - My doctor asked me about hereditary condions and I told him thyroid problems on mama's side and prostate cancer on dad's side of the family... Well he locked in on that prostate issue and dropped the ball on the thyroid prostate cancer is generally a slow growing cancer - I will die of old age before the cancer kills me - but the thyroid failure has destroyed every aspect of my daily life. The moral is to force your doctor to run thyroid tests along with the usual blood tests - you being depressed or tired all of the time might have an organic cause. hypo-thyroidism is not controlled early can wreck your life like it did mine... I am a grateful recovering cripple who used to be a strong fit man - no one ever looked at my thyroid because giving you a pill or suggesting diet changes is not where the money is - they get the big bucks for cancer surgery!!!
@brooklyn again GOD Bless you and thank you. I am doing much better now that the underlying cause is being treated using thyroid replacement hormone, but that is only temporary. I have been researching natural cures via diet, meditation, and prayer. You are correct about Dr. Berg being a literal life saver - I watch all of his videos related to diet and natural treatment of the thyroid as well as cleansing the liver, and many other subjects. I feel that he has helped more than the T4 replacement drugs - because the changes that he suggests allow the medication to work much better... Thank you for your prayers. :)
I truly appreciate your boldness to tell your truth. You are saving lives through your experience and testimony and reminding people that there are alternatives that the doctors may never share because the alternatives are not as profitable for the doctors. The foods you eat play a massive role in thyroid issues. I know this firsthand. When I went raw vegan most of my thyroid issues resolved and my meds had to be reduced drastically. As soon as I went back to my normal diet it reappeared. So it’s very critical to address your dietary habits if you want to heal and normalize your thyroid.

I believe it is a very spiritual thing. Thyroid is throat chakra. Hypothyroidism is for those saying too much that cause chaos. Hyperthyroid is not saying enough of what you truly feel. Balance! Balanced energy. Practicing a type of vibrational vocal exercise that sends vibrations through your body first thing in the morning. I have had hyperthyroidism n it turned into hashimotos. I realize it got worse very quickly. I’ve had trauma in my life and also caused havoc in return which ultimately against my true nature. I began to lose so much sleep. Mind you iam a singer but don’t sing. There was a restriction and unfortunately doctors know nothing about energy medicine. I began to study it and I’ve found major changes in all aspects. I wasn’t happy living a suppressed life. Only we know what is truly wrong it takes take we must dig deep! Now I sing everyday and do my morning meditation with vocal vibration exercises and sip warm tea to get me off to a good start. Listen to your body!
Well said. I 100% agree that suppressed emotions, suppressed voice and childhood stress/trauma have much to do with thyroid issues. It’s energy related and based in a blocked throat chakra. Try reiki and singing/chanting/humming for healing.
Yes! I grew up in a very controlling family. With high stress levels. Where my voice was not heard or dismissed. It wasn't ontill I was older that I educated myself on the root cause of this issue ,and how to heal it. It is so important to listen to children and teach them to use their voice!.
Warm coriander water in the morning helped to healed my thyroid! Along with taking zinc and selenium, eliminated plastics, watched my diet, eliminated gluten, coffee, sugar, soy.
That is my favourite memory from my childhood - catching grasshoppers in my little hands - listen to them all evening long, listening to nature around my grandmas little house in small village
Fact.I have thyroid issue and i am on meds. Anytime i keep a grudge with my husband, everything goes haywire, the symptoms are worse. When we make up, i get well.
Diet is the key of our health. I do apologiese but due to some health problem, I cannot be vegan. As soon as I removed wheat, rice, soya, milk products my life changed for the better. Diet is our first medicine.

Sadhguru talks about intention and love. If you don't use positive intention and care when you prepare your food, the food won't heal you and won't calibrate with your physical body. This is so true! This is the reason some religions ask us to say a prayer/blessing before we eat. In Judaism butchers should pray and use positive intention before they kill the animals. What we eat should have a positive vibe and we should have a positive vibe towards our food in order for us to be healthy.

"It's all calibration" That's a good point. What will happen if you deny your body the ability to naturally adjust or calibrate? But how can the body do that when nothing is pure anymore? Another time I went to a zen like retreat for 2 weeks and again l was so relaxed and happy to be loving life again. I set my intentions to remember Mother Nature whenever I needed to go home. City noise IS everywhere. An earthquake had shut down all the electricity and it was almost like being out in woods again. Then all the sirens and fire crews had to get to work. I wish mankind could come out with some sort of sound shield for our homes!! Ah, one can dream!! When I meditate the noise is almost completely muted so peace is within me once again. So ☮️ to all! May you find ways to enJOY Mother Nature as much as possible!!
cleanse your energies daily, clean the chakras, do more yoga, do the breath of fire to purify the blood, eat right, think pure thoughts, stay away from toxic energy including relationships. your mama, your dada, your grown kids, yes I said it!! you have to walk away to stay healthy and keep your mind right, learn how to be alone.. please don't crucify me lol
Could not agree more, people let family drag them down to much thinking that's the way it has to be because they are "Family" they can sometimes be some of the most toxic relationships in your life but usually the hardest to walk away from
Wow! We truly are so dead serious about our lives forgetting we will die anyway! Thank u Sadhguru for reminding to loosen up🙏🙏🙏🥰💖much love to u. So Blessed to have u around 💓 🙏🥰
God bless this man. I don't care what ANYBODY thinks. This man is so calm and collected, there's a reason he doesn't freak out like we do here in the West
I live in USA but I never go to the doctor accept having 4 children. But on 2016 I went to ER but I wasn't sick. Something fell in my head at work and my employer refused to take me to the doctor for some test. So I went to the emergency room so my head can be scanned. So I had a CT scan and the doctor told me that I have a thyroid cancer that is spreading in my chest. The doctor got me an appointment to see the specialist to determine what stage. I said no thank you. I don't wanna know when I'm gonna die. Till today I never went to the doctor and never have a drop of medicine. I'm doing fine. My throat don't bother me for as long as I don't get emotional. Crying feels like my throat is closing up. Completely no sugar. No manufactured drinks, just plain water and organic tea. No processed foods and no food that can give me heartburn.
Wow! While re-reading your reply because I had to do this several times), and imagining myself in "your shoes", and what makes you choose such a admirable position when faced with a dire health problem, OR, OUR GREAT FEAR- DEATH, and, I may allow myself to put my life in someone else's hands that I don't even know, TOO QUICKLY. I I'M SO GLAD THAT I HAVE PONDERED ALL THIS BECAUSE OF YOUR REPLY BECAUSE I HOPE TO USE THAT WISDOM IN MY LIFE. THANK YOU FOR THE INSPIRATION
This is profound to me. The modern world is not quite right. I have issues with eating food that I don’t see the primary source of. I desire food from local farmers and food I grow myself. I’ve starved this past winter because I was not prepared and I’m not comfortable with mainstream foods. We all need to grow more of our own foods.
I started to have symptoms 3 years ago after a very bad relationship that left me with ptsd. Eventually I had insomnia, tremors, lost of focus, depression and didn't know why I couldn't get rid of it if I broke up with that toxic girl. I started to lose weight very fast although I was eating a lot. I did a blood work and found out I had graves disease. The weird thing is that I was on remission, and then my former girlfriend started to work in the same store as me, my symptoms started to come back. Now I'm on methimazole again, doing psychological therapy, meditation, breathing practices, etc to counter the mood symptoms. It's been a hell. I consider myself a fighter, I always try to see the glass full and I don't want to think about suicide, but it's getting to that point. I feel alone, frustrated. I'm 39 and I feel my life is going to be over when I reach my 40s. I wish I had the money to go out to a temple for a year and learn how to control myself. I believe that being at peace mentally and spiritually really makes a difference in everything.
Don’t worry brother u can perfectly cure thyroid with diet itself and pranayama, yoga. Stop your medication it’s going to make it worst. Go for natural things. Ayurveda is great. Watch fituber on RU-vid about thyroid. Don’t worry you will cure it. Come back with a good news I’ll be waiting❤️
And how do you know you were on remission and symptoms start back. Did u check again? Or u just think that you having thyroid with the symptoms only. And what makes you be in remission?
@@johnnyenglish2753 I was declared on remission because my numbers (t4 and tsh) were under the normal scale (gotta do a blood work every 3 months and visit my endocrinologist with those results, which I stopped doing). Not only that, but most of my symptoms were gone almost completely. I didn't have anxiety to the point of wanting to kill myself. Now I started with my thyroid medication and it seems that the fact that my thyroid is not overreacting I'm a little bit more relaxed. I'm getting sleepy at night (sometimes I wake up at night but I'm still able to sleep back). I'm willing to try everything you suggested me (sorry for my ignorance but I don't have the flexibility on my body for yoga). Thank you for reading my post and giving me advice. It means a lot a to me..
@@vasco1983 @vasco1983 I've just read your story. U know, there're many people around the world who suffer similar thyroid issues like you. I'm one of them... But it's just this unpleasant experience that makes us even more eager to overcome and see the world beyond. You get what mean? Say, maybe 1.5 month later, you or I or someone else find the key to curing thyroid issues once and for all, then share it and help many recover. It'll be so so nice!! I don't know. But let's not think like this is the end of your life. At least, you were strong enough and "sober" enough to write your story and by chance I and Johnnyenglish 27 happened to read it. This should be taken as a good sign 😊👍 wish you all well!!
@@4061earthabcdesong @Ton Mount the thing I take from all this is the fact that we really want to fight our way outta the issues instead of giving up (easier said than done, but a work in progress at least). I know people who are not even able to lift a finger because the mood changes or depression caused by the hormonal changes that are way too much for them to handle. Likewise, I wish you all well, and like you said, hopefully, someone will come out with something to help us on this matter and will share it with us.
I have trouble losing weight, no matter how little i eat. I went to a Cuban doctor. He told me, it is my mind that is keeping me from losing the weight. That I need to do things that make me happy, to make me feel alive. Only then will i lose the weight.
Also consider not every body is rail thin....according to the height and weight chart of the American dietary I am obese....my md told me that was rubbish I am healthy and proportioned that I would look and feel unhealthy at the recommended weight..some peoples are obsessed with being thin....I lost my beautiful sister to that illness, died trying to be thin
I am literally 13 I have been put on medication since I was 5 I am state level basketball player and I attend taekwondo academy+ dance academy I am eating healthy since childhood cuzz everything till this seconds is managed by my momma
Just run away as soon as you turn 18 But not with any boy/or girl Find a job save some cash and leave home and just realize your parents only want the best for you but sometimes dont know how to do it in a healthy way Tell your parent how you feel Ask for some time for yourself But also realize you have all the time in the world later Learn, absorb this life, so you appreciate what you have later.
@Sureshkumar Surendran I certainly thank you for your open hearted kindness...wisdom comes from God,the Creator of Heaven & Earth that runs so powerfully in this man as a service to humanity. I may actually check this out if lead by the Holy Spirit that runs from the Lord of All, Jesus Christ°•♡~.
You are Amazing I admire you I would love to leave the life you live for one week at least 😊 and be guided in every direction to make myself better. BRAVO
