Whether you like them or not, it's refreshing to hear a politician answer a question with an actual answer. Instead of deflecting from the question with a rewritten response that either avoids the topic or is just an attack on the opposition.

Why are Tories allowed to be racist and there is no consequences?

The most blatant case of voter disenfranchisement you could imagine. The working class are more likely to be voter apathetic and less likely to have photo id. So asking them to get id is just putting a further obstacle in their way, meaning they are even less likely to vote. The working class are more likely to vote Labour. But even worse, the over 65's are allowed to use their travel passes. But young people are not. Over 65's mainly vote Tory. Young people mainly don't vote Tory.

All of this was within about a decade when property/pub prices were at a peak. Essentially, they paid too much. They survived Lockdown, but the indications they are not going to survive the cost of living crisis. At the end of the day, though, Stonegate as a company has no gay provenance, like so many so-called pink businesses. Again, it is one of those aspects over which the Mayor of London has so little control. The villain of the piece, for me, has always been Westminster City Council and Soho Estates that have sought to gentrify the area. Soho became a gay hub because it was run down, essentially, and rates and rents were affordable. Bars became gay because mainstream businesses didn't see enough revenue in them. It was the same for Earls Court, Kings Cross, Shoreditch and Vauxhall, but now an overheated property market and rip-off landlords and developers have kicked out so many old business. This has happened so extensively, that there is now no new down-at-heel zone for a gay business to migrate to and start over.

ULEZ is a non issue. Only 50% of households own a car, not even individuals. Of those within the expansion zone only 10% of vehicles are non compliant. The number of Londoners impacted by ULEZ is rounding error.

I hope to goodness that Khan wins handily tomorrow. The Conservative is an utter nightmare. I had to ask for a ballpoint pen myself, but all the other people were given PENCILS. I tried to call crimestop watchers, they told me to call 101. I rang 101 and been put on hold 47 minutes and no one picked my call up. Police and whoever should investigate, please take action.!!!!!!

I live in an area of london that is diverse, educated and full of young families with children. We will all vote for a person who will help protect us from central government defunding, give our children cleaner air and is not a racist. That person currently is certainly not hall.

The Tories always make it hard for every one else. Take the unions for example - RMT have to process their votes via post and not electronically. Yet the cons can vote electronically. It’s the hinder everyone else and keep them in as much power as possible.
